После пересмотра компанией Samsung кодовых названий своих устройств флагманские модели получили индекс S. Всем известны смартфоны этой серии, а не так давно компания стала выпускать и планшеты. Первой ласточкой стали устройства Samsung Galaxy Tab S, получившие лучшее, что было у компоновщика на тот момент, и ставшие полноценным конкурентом iPad.

Один из главных конкурентов для Apple iPad

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 стал продолжением серии. Планшет получил практически эталонный дисплей, мощный процессор, модерные и формат экрана 4:3. Последние исследования показали, что если раньше пользователи преимущественно смотрели фильмы, то сейчас они в основном читают книги и просматривают веб-сайты. Именно это и побудило девелопера создать именно такой формат. Итак, представляем вашему вниманию обзор планшета Samsung Galaxy Tab S2.

Дизайн

Внешний вид Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 имеет одну узнаваемую черту, из-за которой его невозможно спутать с устройством другой компании: физические кнопки на передней панели. Одна из них - механическая кнопка «Домой» со встроенным сенсором отпечатков пальцев, а остальные две - сенсорные. В остальном планшет похож на другие модели. Тем не менее сложно не обратить внимание на стремление наследовать своего основного соперника - Apple iPad.

Устройство Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 производится с двумя размерами экрана - 8 и 9,7 дюймов. Как уже упоминалось, соотношение сторон - 4:3, так как в первую очередь планшет позиционируется для использования в деловой сфере и для браузинга. В Samsung посчитали, что так будет лучше, ведь в сравнении с предыдущими годами изменилась модель утилизации подобных устройств, и мультимедиа просматривает меньше пользователей. А новый формат прибавляет на 20% больше пространства. Кстати, первым планшетом с таким экраном стал Galaxy Tab A (читайте его ).

Кроме кнопок, которые размещены на узкой части планшета, на передней поверхности располагается камера и датчик регулировки яркости. Дисплей Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 обрамляют неширокие рамки, причём в 8-дюймовой модели они несколько уже, что придаёт устройству большей схожести со смартфонами. Вокруг дисплея - металлическая рамка, придающая планшету серьёзный вид. Причём сзади она переходит в пластик. Задняя часть покрыта мягким на ощупь пластиком и имеет . На ней располагается задняя камера, которая выдаётся над корпусом, надпись Samsung и своего рода кнопки для фирменного чехла. Все разъёмы находятся по бокам: справа - кнопки громкости и блокировки/включения, а также два плотно закрытых слота для nano-SIM и microSD; вверху - микрофон; а снизу - два стереодинамика, гнездо для наушников и порт microUSB. Левая грань осталась полностью свободной. А 8-дюймовая модификация Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 с модулем сотовой связи имеет дополнительно разговорный динамик над дисплеем и микрофон на нижней грани, поскольку по нему можно звонить, как через обычный телефон.

Сам корпус пластиковый и очень тонкий, всего лишь 5,6 мм. Это наиболее тонкий планшет в мире. Несмотря на тонкость, устройство очень прочное и собрано на совесть. Детали очень плотно подогнаны друг ко другу, а корпус временами кажется совсем монолитным. Благодаря отказу от использования металла, вес составляет лишь около 390 г у 9,7-дюймового аппарата и около 270 г у 8-дюймового. Поэтому без напряга можно работать гораздо дольше.

Экран

В этом компоненте Samsung переплюнули всех, ведь дисплей Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 является лучшим на рынке. Матрица SuperAMOLED разрешением 2048 x 1536 и плотностью пикселей 320 ppi имеет высочайшую яркость и невероятно реалистично передаёт цвета, а высочайшая контрастность способствует отображению всех самых мелких деталей. Действительно, цветовой охват палитры sRGB достиг 100%, благодаря чему обзор фотографий и просмотр видео стал очень комфортным для глаз.

Благодаря такому разрешению, экран Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 не имеет зернистости, его можно увидеть разве что разглядывая матрицу под увеличительным стеклом. Чётко и гладко читаются даже мелкие буквы. Углы просмотра высочайшие, поэтому можно комфортно показывать какой-то контент даже в компании. Если вас не устраивают слишком яркие цвета матрицы, есть возможность настроить профиль работы экрана. Доступно четыре профиля: Основной, Фильм AMOLED, Фото AMOLED и Режим чтения, а также Адаптивный дисплей, автоматически запускающий нужный профиль, в зависимости от контента и условий использования. Можно выбирать любой профиль вручную. Каждый из них существенно отличается в плане отображения цветов, баланса белого и яркости.

Насчёт яркости. Стандартные показатели Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 становят порядка 375 кд/м 2 и зависят от количества светлых цветов. Но стоит активировать автоматическое регулирование и выйти под прямые солнечные лучи, как яркость легко возрастает до 700 кд/м 2 . Таких показателей нет практически ни у кого. В сочетании с антибликовым фильтром чёткость картинки и читабельность экрана остаётся на высочайшем уровне в любом случае.

Вдобавок ко всему имеется покрытие от жирных пятен, а также защитное стекло. Из-за маленькой толщины пришлось вместо Gorilla Glass 4 поставить более тонкое покрытие. Так что со временем экран покрывается мелкими царапинками, видными лишь на свете в выключенном состоянии планшета. Они никак не влияют на работу и не портят общее приятное впечатление. Действительно, экран у Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 лучший по качеству не только по меркам планшетов, но и большинства смартфонов.

Производительность

За работу Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 отвечает мощнейший процессор Samsung Exynos 5433, впервые использованный на Galaxy Note 4 и значительно перепрыгнувший своё время. Он имеет огромной запас мощности и производительности, так как на чипсет, изготовленный по технологии 20 нм, установлены 4 ядра по 1,9 ГГц, более экономные 4 ядра по 1,3 ГГц, видеоадаптер Mali-T760 MP6 и 3 ГБ ОЗУ. Кроме того, железо имеет поддержку специальной технологии, позволяющей использовать все 8 ядер одновременно. Весь вопрос в том, какие приложения будут утилизировать такую возможность. Может, кто-то ждал процессор нового поколения, но и полный ресурс этого вы вряд ли используете.

Естественно, что устройство Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 функционирует просто исключительно, никакого даже малейшего намёка на подтормаживания нет. Меню просто летает, планшет с лёгкостью читает видеофайлы разрешением 2K (3840 x 2160), открывает и документы, позволяет забавляться во все современные игры на максимальных параметрах. Различные тесты производительности демонстрируют результаты наравне с лучшими смартфонами, хотя и не всегда дотягиваются до них. Но его параметров и так с головой хватит самому требовательному пользователю.

Мультимедийные возможности

Планшет Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 с лёгкостью воспроизводит медиафайлы с самым высоким битрейтом и поддерживает множество форматов музыки и видео. Правда, стандартный проигрыватель может понравиться не всем. Но дозволено скачать и установить любой с магазина приложений.

Два динамика довольно точно воспроизводят все частоты и имеют хороший запас громкости, поэтому и качество звука отличное. Так что просматривать ролики можно будет и в шумном месте. К сожалению, квадратный формат будет вынуждать смириться с чёрными полосами при просмотре на Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 современных фильмов, ведь большинство из них записаны в формате 16:10. В наушниках аудио звучит очень объёмно и глубоко, меломаны будут рады. Хотя вряд ли кто будет покупать такой планшет, ориентируясь чисто на качество звучания.

Аккумулятор и время работы

Более крупная модификация Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 оснащена батареей на 5870 мАч, а меньшая - на 4000 мАч. Это очень неплохой показатель для такого тонкого устройства. Кроме того, энергосберегающий режим, технология экрана и автоматическая яркость продлевают время работы до 14 часов. Средние показатели при включённом 3G-модуле - 7–8 часов непрерывной работы. В свою очередь, цифры могут отличаться от частоты использования, типа беспроводного соединения и его стабильности, профиля работы экрана, его уровня яркости, температурной среды. Так что у каждого устройства показатели могут разниться. Игры, вообще, самые прожорливые поглотители энергии, можно добиться максимум 7–7,5 часов при минимальной яркости. Но в целом на день планшета хватит, а при отключении мобильной связи - и на все два.

В настройках Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 можно активировать специальный режим энергосбережения. Он регулирует запущенные процессы, снижает мощность процессора, отключает беспроводные модули, а при максимальной экономии, вообще, делает экран чёрно-белым. Эта полезная функция позволит продлить жизнеспособность устройства в безвыходные моменты.

Камера

Планшет Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 оснащён главной камерой на 8 мегапикселей и вспомогательной на 2,1 мегапикселя. Они мало чем отличаются от таковых в предыдущей модели. Единственное отличие - улучшенная светосила, в связи с чем отсутствует вспышка. Вспомогательная камера имеет фиксированный фокус и выполняет довольно . Также она демонстрирует хорошую картинку при видеозвонках.

Основная же камера Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 не демонстрирует чего-то супервыдающегося, по сравнению со многими смартфонами, которые всё равно существенно опережают планшеты. Улучшенная светосила и диафрагма f/1.9 не компенсируют отсутствие вспышки при вечерней съёмке. На фото появляются шумы, баланс белого может сбиваться, автофокус не срабатывать должным образом. Днём же камера может похвастаться неплохой детализацией и резкостью. Баланс белого работает корректно, цвета не искажаются, камера фокусируется моментально. Меню её настроек сильно напоминает настройки смартфона одноимённой серии. В целом камера Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 пока что не сравнится с телефонными, но является одной из лучших среди планшетных.

В магазине приложений Samsung присутствует интересная программа 3D Capture. При её помощи можно создавать трёхмерные снимки. Достаточно запустить приложение и, следуя указаниям, медленно повернуть устройство вокруг объекта, затем сохранить. Такой возможностью обладают считаные единицы аппаратов.

Операционная система и программы

На устройстве инсталлирована операционная система Android 5.0.2 с традиционной оболочкой Samsung TouchWiz, которая почти полностью идентична телефонной. Набор программ почти как у голого Android, правда, некоторые фирменные приложения всё-таки присутствуют. Поэтому не придётся долго вычищать планшет от программного мусора.

Система Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 имеет большое количество настроек, причём несколько фирменных фич. Например, был добавлен поисковик по устройству S Finder, позволяющий найти нужный файл, приложение или настройку, или Smart Manager - очиститель мусорных файлов и ускоритель. Кроме того, имеется свой магазин приложений Samsung Apps. Также предустановлен офисный пакет Microsoft Office Android, позволяющий быстро отредактировать нужный документ на ходу.

Встроенный в кнопку «Домой» дактилоскопический датчик позволяет сохранить ваши данные в безопасности. При первом использовании функции мастер настройки попросит несколько раз приложить палец к сенсору, пока не заполнится нарисованный отпечаток. Можно запрограммировать до 4 отпечатков. После этого распознавание происходит моментально, достаточно дотронуться пальцем у сенсора. Через сканер отпечатков нельзя настроить несколько профилей юзера, зато такая возможность в устройстве имеется. Это очень удобно, если планшет один на всю семью.

Одним словом, интерфейс системы переработан очень классно. Samsung обещает выпускать регулярные обновления Android, и уже во втором квартале ожидается выход Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Конкуренты

Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet - установлен процессор Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 с видеочипом Adreno 430; устройство имеет лучшее разрешение передней камеры - 2,1 МП, широкоформатный 10,1-дюймовый экран 2560 x 1600; объёмы памяти совпадают; планшет защищён от пыли и воды.

Apple iPad Air 2 - меньшая плотность пикселей экрана (264 ppi), 2-ядерный процессор, фронтальная камера лишь 1,2 Мегапикселя.

Если учесть, что планшет от Sony был выпущен позже, не удивительно, что его разрешение экрана несколько выше. Хотя при этом не стоит забывать о большей диагонали и широком формате. iPad же проигрывает практически по всем характеристикам. Можно смело заявить, что Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 является едва ли не лучшим флагманским устройством на сегодня.

Плюсы и минусы

Подводя обзор к завершению, отметим слабые и сильные стороны устройства Samsung Galaxy Tab S2.

Его высочайшая производительность, качественнейший экран и сильная батарея порадуют как любителей игр, так и тех, кто покупает устройство для работы.
