About the book "Deniskin's stories" in general

I bought the book "Deniskin's Stories" in a small format, in hardcover, publishing house Moscow Rosmen. The book is illustrated. This book does not contain all the stories about Deniska, only 17. But Yulia, my granddaughter, read them all. Then we will read other stories that were not in the book.

Viktor Dragunsky's stories are very easy to read. I, my grandmother, myself with pleasure re-read the stories that I read as a child. Who does not remember the famous passage "Vasya's dad is strong in mathematics, his dad studies for Vasya all year round ..."

A huge number of people have grown up with these stories. Although the book was written in the last century, it is still popular with modern schoolchildren and older preschool children. The main character of the book is Denis Korablev, an ordinary schoolboy who does not always teach his lessons, sometimes he is late for school, and funny stories happen to him.

The stories are set in 1960. Denis lived in Moscow with his parents. The heroes of the book are:

Victor Dragunsky. A bit of biography

Victor Yuzefovich Dragunsky was born on December 1, 1913 in New York. It so happened that his parents, Belarusian emigrants, moved to America in search of a better life. A year later, the boy and his parents returned to their homeland in Gomel.

Victor's childhood was spent on the road. His stepfather took him on tour. Then the Dragunsky family moved to Moscow. Victor started working early. He was also a turner, a boatman, and studied acting. He worked in the theater "Blue Bird". I was in the circus on the color boulevard as a clown in a red wig.

The theater became for Dragoonsky the starting point, which led to the writing skills.

During the Great Patriotic War, he was in the militia, then performed with concert teams.

When Victor worked in the circus, he noticed how well children react to his performances. Working as a clown, he won the love of young audiences.

Dragunsky had a son, Denis. The father watched his son, wrote down the stories that happened to him. His son became the prototype of the protagonist of Denis's Tales.

The stories immediately became very popular with readers. In total, about 90 stories have been written. The stories brought Dragoonsky literary fame.

The writer's son Denis became a writer.

"Deniskin's stories" are read very easily, with interest. The author so talentedly described everyday situations, over which you can laugh and speculate.

Dragoonsky's works were included in the classics of children's literature.

"He is alive and glows"

A boy in the yard is waiting for his mother, but she is late. Denis is very upset, he is sad and lonely. Then his friend Mishka comes. He saw Denis have a beautiful dump truck and is trying to get it by offering Denis various items. Denis does not want to change, because the dump truck is a gift from his dad.

And then the Bear offers a firefly that glows in the dark. Denis is changing. And he is no longer so lonely waiting for his mother.

At home, my mother is surprised that he traded the car for "some firefly." Denis answers: "he is alive and shines."

The firefly warmed the soul of the boy, who was very sad and lonely without his mother.

‘'The secret is revealed'

A funny story in which Denis refuses to eat semolina. But his mother promises to take him to the Kremlin if he eats everything. Denis is trying to improve the taste of the hated porridge: he salt and pepper it. But this does not make it tastier. And then he finds a way out: he opens the window and pours the porridge into the street, thinking that the problem will be solved.

But then the door opens and a man enters, all smeared with porridge, and a policeman with him.

The meaning of the words "The secret becomes apparent" reaches Denis. Everything that you want to hide will sooner or later be revealed, and then troubles cannot be avoided.

"Main rivers"

The story of how Denis did not learn the lesson, but was called to the blackboard. No tips from classmates helped.

Denis finds himself in a comic situation and remembers the lesson for the rest of his life.

History teaches you to do your homework constantly, and not from time to time.

"Childhood friend"

The story is very touching. Denis decided to go in for boxing, asks his parents to buy him a punching bag. Mom suggests taking an old teddy bear instead of a pear.

Denis found a bear and remembers his childhood, how he played with a toy. And he feels sorry for the bear. He did not betray his childhood friend and use him instead of a punching bag.

"Fire in the wing, or Exploit in the ice"

The boys played too much and were late for school. On the way, they came up with an excuse. Denis offers to tell how they save a child in a fire. Mishka came up with his own story in which they save a boy who fell through the ice.

Arriving at school, each one in turn tells his own story. The teacher got angry because they were late and still lie and gave them two marks.

You should not deceive adults, it is better to tell the truth.

The first film based on the stories of Dragunsky. The heroes of the film - Denis Korablev, Mishka, Alenka, Lenochka live in the Moscow dor. They, like all children, love the circus, the zoo, but they do not like semolina, the housekeeper, which prevents them from performing various circus tricks in the courtyard.

Denis was in the circus. He liked the performance of the girl on the ball.

The old film was based on the story "Tell me about Singapore". The uncle of Denis, the captain of the long voyage, came to visit.
