There is always enough time for everyone. The question is how to distribute it

Many of us in recent years have begun to notice that there is something amiss with the way time passes. Days run like hours, weeks like days, months like weeks, and years like months. The speed of the passage of time is such that a person has time to do less and less. It would seem that the day has just begun, did not have time to look around, and outside the window - the night!

And this is what is characteristic: earlier only people "aged" noticed the fact that time for them began to flow faster over the years, now the situation with the feeling of the fleetingness of time has changed: even adolescents and children began to complain about its lack.

Speaking about modern children, the famous Moscow priest Alexander Shumsky told the Russkaya Liniya news agency: “Children are changing their sense of time. As a child, it seemed to us that time passes very slowly, but for an adult, by definition, time passes quickly. I ask young children, but they say that time flies very quickly. My grandson went to first grade, and he says that time flies very quickly. "

The priest wonders: what is it from? He makes guesses: “Or is the substance of time objectively changing, because it is the most incomprehensible substance, or does such an impression come from information overload? But in any case, time passes subjectively faster than before. "

And the monks from Athos, while conducting the night prayer, noticed one oddity. Since ancient times, they had a special prayer rule: at a certain period of time, they had to read a certain number of prayers. And so every day, strictly by the clock.

Previously, the monks had time to complete the entire program during the night, and before the early morning service they even had a little time to rest. And at the present time, with the same number of prayers, the elders no longer have enough night to finish them.

An equally amazing discovery was made by the Jerusalem monks serving in the Holy Land. It turns out that for several years now the lamps at the Holy Sepulcher have been burning longer than before. Previously, oil was added to large lamps at the same time, on the eve of Easter. It burned out completely within a year. But now, for the umpteenth time, there is still a lot of oil left before the main Christian holiday. It turns out that even the physical laws of combustion are ahead of time!

Various sources claim that in terms of real, not calendar duration, if we take the old time, which has not changed for centuries, as the standard, the modern day lasts only 18 hours against the previous 24 hours.

It turns out that every day we receive less than 6 hours and that is why we constantly do not have enough time, because the days are flying at an accelerated rate. The shortening of the day was especially noticeable at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries.

An interesting explanation of the variability of time was given by studying the chronosphere by the famous physicist, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Corresponding Member of the Belarusian Academy of Sciences, now the late Viktor Iosefovich Veinik. He put forward a scientific hypothesis, according to which time, as a physical phenomenon, has a material carrier - a certain substance of time, which he called "chronal field".

In the course of the scientist's experiments, a wrist electronic watch placed in an experimental installation created by him could slow down or accelerate its course.

Based on his experiments with the substance of time, Veinik made a conclusion about the existence of the time field of the planet - the chronosphere, which controls the transition of the past into the future.

The scientist believed that time is also represented at the level of microparticles and called these microparticles chronons - quanta of physical time. And the field in which these microparticles of time exist is chronical. He believed that the chronal potential (chronal) decreases over time. For example, in humans, the most important chronal is a newborn child, and with age it decreases many times. For example, in infants, all metabolic processes occur much more intensively than in adults: per kilogram of weight, the need for nutrients is 2-2.5 times higher, oxygen consumption is 2 times higher. For them, all processes proceed quickly - babies grow quickly, quickly gain weight, quickly learn to understand the world, and the life around them, accordingly, seems very slow to them.

But that's not all. It turns out that not only people are aging. Of particular interest is the problem of chronal reduction (aging) of planets, stars, galaxies and the entire Universe. Here we will pay attention only to the process of natural aging of the Earth. It does not develop at all, as many think, but decays. To this day, her chronal, which determines the intensity of all processes on her, has greatly decreased.

In ancient times, with a high chronal, life on Earth was in full swing: dinosaurs were the size of a three-story house, the grass was like today's trees, the process of radioactive decay of the atom was extremely intense. Now everything has grown old, although there are still some places on earth with a slightly higher chronal, for example, Sakhalin Island, where burdocks are like large two-meter umbrellas, and the grass is like a shrub. The French tried to transplant this "gigantomania" to themselves, but after a year everything degenerated - the wrong chronal.

On our planet, the speed of life processes is steadily decreasing, which is why the run of time is accelerating for everything on Earth!

But back to the theory of time acceleration. Why did time on Earth start to run faster? It is known that in order to slow down the running of time, you need to increase your speed. Therefore, to speed up time, the speed must be reduced. That is, our planet should have reduced its speed.

American astrobiologists D. Brownlee and P. Ward came to the conclusion that the Sun is "to blame" for the decrease in the speed of the Earth's motion. Our star is a young growing star. Expanding, the Sun gradually absorbs our planet. Year after year, revolution after revolution, the Earth continues to change its orbit and approach the Sun. If we compare the solar system with the model of the atom, where electrons revolve around the nucleus at a certain distance from each other, then we can understand how the speed of the Earth's movement has decreased. The electrons that are closer to the nucleus rotate more slowly than those that are farther from it. The closer the planet is to the Sun, the slower it will revolve around it, slowed down by the more powerful gravitational field of the star. With a decrease in speed, the running of time will accelerate. It will just go faster. This does not mean that the day will be equal to 23 or 22 hours. No. The smaller trajectory of the orbit is compensated by the lower rotation speed in this orbit. There are 24 hours left in a day, but this is not the same 24 hours that were before.

THE UNIVERSE IS EXPANDING, BUT IT'S TIME ... ACCELERATING! This conclusion was reached by researchers at the Kiev Institute of Quantum Physics Dmitro Stary and Irina Soldatenko during a scientific experiment that began in the 70s and lasted for almost thirty years.

By the way, doesn't it seem strange to you that Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin at the age of 20 was a mature man and a fully formed poet, and nowadays 20 years is practically adolescence.

But the most interesting thing is that this conclusion of scientists not only echoes, but is also significantly supplemented in the books of Anastasia Novykh.

“In the near future, humanity will face another phenomenon of the Universe. Due to the increasing acceleration of the Universe, in connection with the depletion of the power of Allat, humanity will feel a rapid decrease in time. The phenomenon will consist in the fact that the conditional twenty-four hours a day, as they were, will remain, but time will fly by much faster. And people will feel this rapid shortening of time intervals, both at the physical level and at the level of intuitive perception.

- So it will be connected with the expansion of the Universe? - Nikolai Andreevich clarified.

- Yes. With increasing acceleration. The more the Universe expands, the faster time runs, and so on until the complete annihilation of matter. "

“The amount of time is fixed. When it is "enough" or "not enough" - these are our expectations that lead to this or that sensation. " Leo Babauta explains what we do wrong every day.

Constant lack of time is a problem for millions. We have no time for everything: to live, be friends, relax, work, just look around. World famous writer and psychologist Leo Babauta confidently declares : there is always enough time, you just need to know where to look for it. DK.RU chose the main thing from the expert column.

We have tons of tasks and projects, endless messages and emails to be answered, and even if we work with concentration and without distraction (this is a huge “if”) ... time is not enough.

Let's say you happen to find time after work and on weekends to do something unrelated to work - reading, exercise, meditation, learning something new, a hobby ... Well, then you again find that time and it is never enough for that: you want to do too much, but you still do not have enough time.

And these are just big things ... In addition to all this, you need to eat, sleep, travel somewhere, take a shower or a bath, watch TV, follow the news, do the cleaning and other household chores, wash the car and pay bills, buy groceries and cook paying taxes. How can we squeeze all this into the small amount of time that we have left to complete work and non-work tasks?

There is never enough time, and we all got sick of it. Why is that? What's the matter? And what the hell can you do about it?

The reason for the lack of time

The amount of time is fixed. When it is "enough" or "not enough" - these are only our expectations that lead to this or that sensation.

If we want to do more than is possible in a fixed amount of time, we think that time is not enough because it has not met our expectations. If we are satisfied with how much we have done during this time, then we believe that it was enough.

In a word, these are just our expectations - how much needs to be done in a day.

Who is imposing these expectations on us? Our leaders? Society? Parents? Are we ourselves? All of the above is true. The result is commitments about how much we need to do, commitments that cannot be met in the limited amount of time we have.

We need to get rid of these erroneous commitments. To learn to appreciate the time we really have, to appreciate every action that we can perform during this time.

But ... but you need to do more than 10 times. You may well object. But start with a week-long experiment:

Do a weeklong experiment: make a to-do list, prioritize, and schedule time for them. After that, disciplined and focused, execute each block, doing exactly what you planned. If you find you forgot to buy food or prepare dinner, make changes. After seven days, you will have a much better idea of how much you can actually do.

This is much less than what you once dreamed of. We are overly optimistic about how much we can get done in a day or a week.

Once we look at the situation optimistically, the actual number of things we can do in a week will decrease significantly. We need to start with this realistic admission.

How then to fulfill the assigned tasks

First, determine what needs to be done. What are the items on your to-do list no matter what? For example, you might list things like: shower, eat, sleep, buy groceries, prepare food, clean up, wash clothes, go to work, take the kids to school, and so on. You may also have some non-negotiable work points: Monday meetings, daily calls, etc. How long do they take? Calculate this as carefully as possible. It would be correct to count 8 hours of sleep followed by 4-7 hours of non-work responsibilities (depending on whether you have family or other important non-work responsibilities). And how many work tasks do you have left now?

Now determine how much time is left. Let's say you have 8 hours of sleep, 4 hours of important non-work, and 1.5 hours of work ... and you have 10.5 hours every day. Someone may have more obligatory tasks (both working and non-working), and then there will be only 6 hours left or even less. Just calculate the exact amount.

Then ask yourself what is the best way to use this time? You need to distribute your big pile of tasks and things you want to do, then read and watch ... what is the best use of that time? There is no right answer, just ask this question.

Appreciation and focus

You still want to squeeze in more in a limited time - that's our nature.

But we need to realize that this is due to a lack of appreciation for the time we have. It's enough. The time we have is a precious gift and we can appreciate it as it is, we don't need it anymore.

So the secret is to work and act with appreciation and focus. Appreciate the opportunities that we have. There are not so many of them, they are precious and wonderful. Can you love them for who they are?

9. The faster we move, the slower time passes.

The faster you move, the slower time goes. According to the laws of physics, you will age more slowly if you travel very fast. If you flew from Earth to the star Sirius at 99% the speed of light, and then returned back, you would be 2.5 years older at the time of arrival, but people on Earth would age 17 years.

10. The universe is so old that on a cosmic scale, a very short time has passed since the appearance of man on Earth.

The universe is 13.8 billion years old. If we squeezed this period of time into an interval equal to one year, that is, if the Big Bang occurred at 00:00:01 on January 1, then on December 29 at 00:00:01 of the same year, the dinosaurs would become extinct, in the same afternoon at 23:54 pm. Christopher Columbus sailed across the Atlantic and discovered America a second before midnight the same day.

11. The most accurate watch ever made is a strontium battery.

Their accuracy is 6.4 * 10-18. This watch is able to accurately determine the time for 5 billion years. For comparison: an atomic clock can work accurately for 300 million years.

12. The oldest known object in the Universe is a galaxy called z8_GND_5296

It is 13.1 billion years old - only about 700 million years younger than the universe itself.

13. The oldest known object on Earth is a 4.4 billion year old crystal, zircon, which was found in Jack Hills in Western Australia. It is only 160 million years younger than Earth itself.

14. Why the world decided to use the same time in different cities

The reason clocks show the same time in all countries is because it makes it easier to schedule trains. Until the 19th century, cities set their clocks to local noon, so clocks in Bristol could be 11 minutes behind those in London at the time. This meant that people continued to let their trains pass, which is why rail companies began using London Standard Time in the UK, beginning with the launch of the Great Western Railroad in 1840.

15. Did you know that time can stop?

Time can be stopped. Distant galaxies move faster than nearby ones. Astrophysicists believe that the universe is accelerating as it is constantly expanding, which is increasing. There is a theory that explains this by a mysterious force in the universe known as "dark energy." But the Spanish physicist proposed an alternative theory: he believes that more distant, older galaxies moving faster than the next ones, because in the past time was flowing faster. If he is right, then in a few billion years "everything will be frozen, like a snapshot, forever."

16. We waste too much time sleeping.

If a person sleeps an average of 8 hours a day, they will sleep about 229,961 hours during their lifetime (which is about 1/3 of their entire life).

17. How do you know how far away a thunderstorm is from you?

Counting the seconds between a flash of lightning and the sound of thunder can tell you how far away a thunderstorm really is: a three-second delay means the thunderstorm is raging about a kilometer away. This is possible due to the delay in the sound generated by the lightning strike. That is why we always first see a flash of lightning, and then we hear a thunderclap. This is especially noticeable when the thunderstorm is several kilometers away from us.

18.75 hamburgers per second

McDonalds sells approximately 375 hamburgers worldwide every five seconds. That is, 75 hamburgers every second.

19.2.5 billion strokes in a lifetime

By the time you turn 70, your heart will have hit over 2.5 billion times. On average, the heart pumps 30 liters of blood into your body every 60 seconds and beats over 100,000 times a day.

20. Spend seconds of your life wisely.

There are 31,556,926 seconds in a year.

Don't waste precious time

According to one of the great people, the most serious crime is not stealing property, but stealing time. Sadly, we commit this crime every day.

How many useful and necessary people could have done while we are stuck in front of television screens or doing empty petty matters.

Unfortunately, it is impossible to return wasted hours, days, years. But you can learn how to use the time that we have left.

Time organization incredibly important for a modern person. How to properly organize your life without wasting time will be discussed in this article.

Time management is a habit you can acquire!

What is time consuming?

To learn how to use time effectively, consider what a modern man is doing 24 hours a day.

So, a working day takes from 8 to 12 hours. Of these, 4-6 hours are allotted to really useful activities. The rest of the time we spend on smoke breaks, conversations, coffee, trying to figure out the boss's task and tune in to a working mood.

Residents of large cities spend from 30 minutes to 2 hours to get to work and return home.

The lunch break takes one hour. Although the meal itself lasts no more than 20 minutes: the rest of the time is spent on the road, the queue at the cafe, smoke breaks, etc.

Household chores take from the fair sex from 4 to 5 hours. Women with children spend even more time.

4-7 hours remain for sleep.

As you can see, the schedule is quite tight. However, even in this situation, many manage to waste a lot of time. “How?” You ask. Below is a kind of rating of the most empty cases that you can easily refuse:

>> Change what goes into your brain, and then you can change what is born in it.

Zig Ziglar<<

  • - trips to shops and boutiques (and many go there for the sake of sports interest, having no money at all with them);
  • - reclining in front of television screens;
  • - communication on the Internet (via Skype, ICQ, etc.);
  • - visiting social networks (by going to "Odnoklassniki" or "Vkontakte" for a minute, you can lose several hours of time);
  • - removal of spam from mailboxes (office employees - both men and women - are forced to do this).

However, this list can be continued indefinitely. Each of us can name dozens of other activities due to which we lose a huge number of invaluable minutes of our life.

Having analyzed the current state of affairs, hardly anyone wants to devote part of their life to things that are useless, without which they can easily do without.

So what's the deal? Let's learn how to rationally use every precious moment of life, organize time so as to use it as efficiently as possible!

How to learn to use time efficiently?

Effective time management

Time management - the science of the correct allocation of time has long been adopted by businessmen who want to achieve tangible results in their activities. It will also be useful to all those who want to more efficiently organize their time, not to waste a single minute in vain.

This also applies to housewives, mothers on maternity leave, and especially those who like to be lazy for an hour or two and do not have time to do what was planned.

So, practical advice on the rational organization of your time.

  1. There is such a method of neurolinguistic programming as anchoring. It is based on that. That useful activity is tied to a certain "anchor" - words, music, movements, etc. For example, some are inspired by classical music, some are inspired by their favorite movie. That is, in order to tune oneself to work, sometimes it is enough to use the necessary "anchor".
  2. Get a planner. Write down the work plan for the day, periodically checking and marking the completed items.
  3. Our life consists of little things, pay attention to them. Instead of a cigarette and a cup of coffee, do something useful - for example, write or check entries in your diary.
  4. Don't give up on rest if you're tired. A timely respite will not prevent you from saving time, but it will give you strength.
  5. Celebrate the things that matter most. Group similar tasks. For example, put all calls that need to be made in a separate column, meetings as well. Try to perform the points in the same way, the whole group at once - and you will see how convenient and effective it is.
  6. An interesting way to save time was suggested by the French. Our brains are known to work most actively before noon. Do the most unpleasant and difficult things in the morning. First, you can get the most out of it. Secondly, spend the remaining time with a clear conscience on more pleasant and easy points of the plan.

You may not yet be ready to admit that you are wasting a lot of time. Sit down in the evening, write down everything that you did during the day in order, in minutes.

Seeing how much time has been wasted on trivia, you will be amazed. And multiplying this time by a week, a month, a year, you will understand why you have not yet achieved your goal in life, and you will immediately want to fix everything. And it is within your power.

Remember: respect for time will be the key to a rich, successful life.

Many people constantly say that they could use an extra 24 hours a day. But this is something from the realm of fantasy. But it is quite possible to make sure that our time is spent rationally. But for this you need to stop doing some obvious and not very actions.

1. To be willing to help everyone around

Helping people is, of course, necessary if you care about their well-being. But you can't sacrifice yourself and put your interests, responsibilities and emotional health on the altar of relationships. Spending yourself on helping everyone you meet, you burn out and lose strength. Which could direct you to something really interesting and necessary.

If you spend more time on others than on yourself, in most cases it's time to at least think. And as a maximum - start about your condition and peace of mind.

2. Wait for the right moment

Let's remember the famous Soviet sideboard, which kept the best dishes in the house - a source of pride for the owners. Perhaps someone still has something similar in the apartment. Now remember: how often did someone use these utensils? Did they get her at all? Most often, the services were kept until "better times". Which, as a rule, never came.

Likewise, most people desire their desires in the "beautiful far away." They come up with conditions: when I do this, then ... But at such a pace the desired may never come true. If you crave for something, strive for it with all your soul, then act. The best time is now.

3. Talk about goals without further action

This point flows smoothly from the previous one. Sharing plans and ideas is sometimes helpful and inspiring. But it's bad if nothing goes further than conversations. As a result, you are wasting your and other people's time.

Before you talk about anything, make sure that you are not just chatting and that you really intend to carry out your plans. Otherwise, in the future, you may well remember this dialogue, and you will find yourself.

4. Go to the shopping center and to the sites of online stores when there is no money for purchases

If the budget is scheduled and bonuses at work are not expected soon, this is a goofy occupation. Just get upset once more and you will sigh heavily.

Of course, there is an option when you look for something to start saving for it. But let's face it, most of the time we just stare.

5. Compete with others

If you have a desire to become a professional in some field, then this is commendable and there is nothing to worry about. Spending time on self-development and improving your life is right. But if you are competing with your acquaintance or friend in who has a better life, this is a stupid activity.

You do not have to prove anything to anyone or do, acquire something, just to wipe someone's nose. This is a dead end situation forcing you to live a lifestyle that is probably not right for you. And all this is spent money, effort and time that you could spend with great benefit and pleasure.

6. Mistake insults for constructive criticism

Feedback from the outside should help you look at something from a different angle, expand your vision. If, in return, you receive an empty negative, you must not give up, and even more so excessively reflect. Thus, you are simply wasting your time, and the "critic" at this moment continues to live on, not remembering about you.

7. Agree to something so as not to offend the person

Caring for the feelings of others is not a bad thing at all. But if it turns into spinelessness and inability to refuse, then first of all you are doing yourself badly.

Of course, if a person really asks to be with you and has gone somewhere with you too, why not support him? But if such a system only works in one direction (not yours), stop thinking about other people's feelings. Do what is interesting and important to you. And do not waste time coming up with excuses, because saying “I don’t want to” is much easier and more honest.

Communicating with knowledgeable people, watching training videos, reading books, articles and highlighting something new and useful for yourself is definitely right. But it's important to remember that not all good advice works the same for everyone. You can spend a lot of time getting used to something, and in the end, life will not get better, but only get worse. For example, early waking is not good for everyone. And although many people advise getting up a little light, this does not mean that you will immediately become more productive and it will help you. There is a chance that things will turn out differently.

Therefore, approach your experiments with caution. Think about what you are going to implement, and do not rush to try everything that you are recommended. Listen to yourself, your body and how you feel. They will tell you how to proceed.

9. Do something with a superficial knowledge of the subject

Most often, such a plot has two development options. Either you do it crookedly and obliquely, or you just throw it without finishing. The third option, where everything worked out for you, is, alas, the rarest.

You will save a lot of time if you thoroughly study the subject before you get down to business. If you have to make corrections, then at a minimum. In contrast to the situation when you did not understand and immediately began to complete the task. And this applies to everything for which you can take up.

Sometimes it’s hard to admit to yourself what you want, but it’s necessary to do it. And it is not at all necessary to look for confirmation or approval in someone's words. Moreover, they may disagree with the interlocutor, and you will not hear what you really want. Because of this, doubts may appear and, as a result, you will spend more time achieving what you want.

11. Leave the trash when cleaning

Thus, you often put off the inevitable and doom yourself to repeated cleaning and another waste of time.
If a thing has not been useful before, the likelihood that it will suddenly be needed tends to zero. Do not do double work and throw away the trash sparingly. If the item is in good condition and it is a pity to throw it away, sell it or give it to the one to whom it is.

12. Buy groceries for one or two days

We will not talk about the importance of the shopping list, this is obvious. But it is also important to look ahead and buy non-perishable food in reserve. In the future, this habit will help you not to go shopping every day. By the way, you can also use home delivery of groceries. This will save you a lot of time and effort.

13. Identify your diseases through Google

Yes, it is useful to read and study expert comments. However, to diagnose oneself is an idea, to put it mildly, so-so. Moreover, in such cases, we are not limited only to the study of articles. After reading, people usually go to self-medication, which in itself is dangerous.

If you have something sick, you need to go to the doctor, and not waste time and money on going to the pharmacy for something that you may not need. Remember that when you self-medicate, you are missing out on time to deal with a real illness that your doctor might diagnose.

Sometimes this is critical.

14. Go to the store without making sure that the goods are in stock

There are times when they write on the site that there is a thing in the store, but on the spot it turns out that it has been sold. But this situation is quite rare. More often than not, people just go to the store, hoping to take home the desired purchase. However, the outcome of the trip is not always happy. It is better not to waste and always look in advance, so as not to be upset later.
