My son is an idiot! How it is not necessary and how it is necessary to choose a military school for admission The son wants to be a military man.

Hello again, dear friends, blog readers!

As I wrote earlier, I am a former military man. Former, because this summer he voluntarily resigned from the ranks in connection with the end of the contract. Now I live in the town of my childhood, where everyone cares about everything, and therefore they often ask me: why did I leave the army, do I feel sorry for the years spent and do I regret my choice.

Why I left and how much I feel sorry for myself, I already wrote. And in this article I want to answer the question of choice. You can also title it: "Where would I have done 10 years ago if I knew everything that I know now." She will also partially answer the question: "What military school should I enter?" and can become a good advisor to someone who has decided to become a military man, but does not know which university to choose.

My attitude to the Suvorov schools and cadet corps

If you, and most often your parents decide to link your / your life with the army, the first thoughts will appear at school. And what? This is ideal for them. With a clear conscience, they will transfer all their responsibility for their children to these pre-university institutions.

Just think: children will be dressed, shod, fed and put to bed on time and at the expense of the state. The beauty! There are cadet corps, in which students are recruited already from the 5th (!) Grade. That is, these children spend almost their entire adult life in the army system. Of course, not every city has a Suvorov school or "cadet", but some parents are ready to send their children even to distant lands, to pay a bribe for admission, thinking that they have made the right choice.

My opinion is this: a child should have a childhood. It happens that some are directly drawn to adventure and they themselves rush out of the house - please. But pushing, and even more so forcing the child to such a decision is not worth it.

After all, if in the end his military life does not work out, you, parents, will be to blame. Discipline is good, of course. And state support too. But life is one.

Where did I get such beliefs

I was not a cadet, I was not a Suvorov soldier, but I talked a lot with them. It was the 6-year-old cadet that impressed me the most. He spent in the army, whatever it was, by the time he graduated from school for 6 years! What else could he become? Naturally he joined the army.

Therefore, I repeat once again - do not experiment. If you are not the son of a hereditary military man and are not going to serve the Motherland all your life, do not go to the Suvorov army, and your parents do not push your children there. Perhaps you will take someone else's place. Someone who really needs it.

What they won't tell you about the service

Our wise state has calculated everything very correctly. The university ends at 22, you need to serve another 5 years. In total, a person is 27 years old and 9 years old and 11 months of service. According to the law, those who have served 10 years or more are entitled to housing and a minimum pension in a number of cases, such as dismissal due to organizational measures, in case of illness, or for a number of several more compelling reasons.

The military man argues: "aha, a little more and" ten ", I'll sign another contract, and then we'll see." And in general, this "ten" in the army is just a fix idea, Rubicon. Although it does not give any special advantages. The next minimum contract is 3 years.

Total by its end: you are already 30 years old, you have served for 13 years. 7 years remain until the guaranteed pension and apartment. Plus, you are already lazy at the end, nothing but the ability to perfectly pretend that you do not know how to work (although when you pin down you are very efficient). So, what is next? Right! After that, a new contract is signed, this time most likely for 10 years.

And what? I want to serve, most of the deadline is over, what to do five times of paperwork? Another 10 years pass, you are 40. 23 years of service, up to the age limit of 5 years, after which it is already one hundred percent in the reserve. How fortunate! Another contract for a well-deserved pension. At this time, the children (who have) are already big, and he himself is relatively young. From life I saw only garrisons and training grounds, but everything is there! I did not live in vain!

Only now I saw these 45-year-old men! I thought they were under 60. Honestly. The officers are still all right, if not overused. But simple contract workers leave their health completely. Even drivers have at least hemorrhoids and herniated discs. Minimum. Obesity, various degrees of alcoholism and many, many things.

I saw it! With my own eyes. Only did anyone tell me about this at the military registration and enlistment office back in school, on January 11, 2003, when I went to the enlistment office? Do you, who decided to become the military, know this? This is not a freebie! This is not an eternal parade in a white shirt and gold shoulder straps.

For 5 years of my service, I put on a dress uniform about 5 times! Three times to the parade on May 9, when he was not in duty, once on the day of the unit and once at the officers' meeting in honor of the arrival of the young replenishment. Has anyone told you this?

This part of the article will be of interest to those who have decided to enter a military school, but do not know which one. In principle, hereditary army men cannot have such a question.

Not a single tankman in memory will send his son to the signalmen. The children of air defense officers are likely to become air defense officers.

Not a single paratrooper wants to see his son as a medic or logistician, and this is understandable.

And what should mere mortals do? Is it realistic to get into the ranks and which direction to choose.

It's very simple: since you decided to become a military man, are ready to enter an army university, go through your health and are not registered with a psychiatrist - go for it. Just take an interest in the civilian specialties offered by this or that school. Indeed, on the day of graduation, you will be handed not only the officer's shoulder straps, but also a certain state-standard document with which you go through life.

I will give a few examples

Naturally, I'll start with myself. My peaceful profession is an engineer with a degree in Radio Engineering. Nothing like a profession. But just in appearance. Depending on the degree of academic performance, some knowledge settles (or does not settle) in the head. Only now they are preparing you for the army. Serve. Command and obey. And who wants smart subordinates? Which is easier to manage smart or not so?

Hence my observation for you: no one needs your knowledge! In the army, the ability to drink liters of vodka without consequences for the body is valued much higher than engineering knowledge. Yes, they will ask you for knowing the material part of the weapon model, but these are already other matters. This is not it.

So it turns out that a person who has gone through the "difficult path from a sperm to a lieutenant colonel" (most often this is the ceiling) at the end of his life leaves the army without having a single useful knowledge for a peaceful life. And where then (at 45-50 years old, full of ambitions, yesterday's big boss?) - right in the guard. If not pulled up to some more decent business, friends-colleagues who have managed (or thought of) to leave earlier.

Radio engineering is a very promising and interesting direction, but not a monetary one by civilian standards. It is difficult to get settled, you need to know a lot.

And you need to have the ability to do this. I have a friend who is now promoting science at the research institute of our university. He is a talent. It is talent. Plus perseverance. He studied better than me, but I'm definitely not stupider. Only a big difference - he liked all these pieces of iron, but I didn't. Much less than him. That's all. If you like it - go to the engineers. Then I can recommend the Smolensk Military Academy of the Air Defense Force or the Yaroslavl anti-aircraft gun. I don’t know exactly what it’s called. They will make engineers out of you, if you want to.

But this is my experience. Once in the army, after about three months I realized that I was in the wrong place.

Military topographer

From an army point of view, and from a life point of view, I would go to study in St. Petersburg. A military surveyor. This is a truly real profession. After all, according to the civil diploma, they are surveyors. And in the army, my one-year-old came straight to the major's post. I'm on the senior lieutenant, and he on the major. Just because I graduated from the right university.

But even if you decide to part with the army, measure the land with the theodolite, the business is sooo profitable and not dusty. Several of my acquaintances work in the land registry at once. Believe me, they live beautifully. And the boy himself stayed in the service for less than a year. He quit his job, lives in Krasnodar and has already bought himself an apartment. (And I would have waited 20 years).

Rear services

The second or even the first steepest profession in the army is the rear. In Volsk there is a Volsk military school for the rear. They say it's very difficult to get there, but it's worth it. Do you want to be in charge of clothing and food items? And if you're lucky, then the fuel? Want to? And who does not want to. Peaceful profession they have something connected with logistics, I do not know for sure. Because these comrades are sitting in their posts quietly and are not going anywhere.

Motorists

There are several universities in the army that train motorists. I had the option to enter Ryazanskoe, but due to childish stupidity, it seemed to me that it was not cool. Or shoot down planes or some motorists ... But in vain!

This is a very promising area. First, to have all categories for the right to drive vehicles is already a profession. You can always get a job as a driver. In the army, these people sit in the automobile service or in autographs, write and sign vouchers for cars, write off fuel and lubricants and keep quiet about their business. You will always have a fleet of vehicles at your disposal with free labor in the form of soldiers and the necessary tools. At least always charged battery and free car wash ...

You know ... For now, that's enough, if this article resonates with the readers, I will definitely add a couple of sound ideas to the list.

Nevertheless, what has already been written above is quite enough to reasonably think about choosing a profession. And to choose a military university correctly, without unnecessary emotions, not by the presence of connections with parents, not by place of residence - in the case of a military school, this is not important at all, but deliberately! With the head.

I still have something to say about the Mozhaisk Academy of the East Kazakhstan region, physical trainers and railroad workers, but that’s later.

I look forward to your comments!

To be continued…

Hello, please tell me about KVVAUL how to go there my son finishes school in 3 years he studies a little higher than average physical education also is there a chance to enter from childhood dreams of becoming a pilot

Hello! Very informative article, thanks! My daughter is 7 years old and we have already clearly decided on the choice of profession. In the Airborne Forces and nowhere else. I am shocked and quietly horrified. Honestly ... in our family on my husband's line, almost all the military ... have seen enough ... and now ... well, okay, we go to the school of the Airborne Forces this fall in parallel with the general education. In principle, I was psycho-ki ready for such a turn of events, because my son has been attending all kinds of sports and competitions since the age of 3.5. Already 2 medals and certificates. But I wanted to ask if this school gives the Airborne Forces to children upon entering the university? This year, 1 girl graduated solemnly with a bunch of medals and several jumps, it seems 10 pieces. They passed exams, took the oath in the presence of the head of Kalmykia and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and they were handed blue. berets. Is this a step on the way to the university or just a valuable gift? Thank you for your answer earlier.

Hello everyone who reads this. Since childhood, he dreamed of becoming an officer, but the medical board rejected twice (in childhood, a horse hit the head with a hoof). Served 2 years urgent and again applied for admission. It so happened that I, by chance, drove up to the district hospital in the commander's car. I went through all the doctors, the neurologist again objects. I arrived at the meeting of the VVK and then the chairman of the commission says, like, a young, handsome senior sergeant wants to become an officer, I think he should be given such an opportunity. This I mean that service in the Armed Forces should not be perceived as a business. Otherwise, it will be a burden and, as the author noted, you will get drunk. I graduated from the Higher Radio Engineering School of Air Defense, 26 years old, a lieutenant engineer, two tiny children of twins, a major position, a garrison in the forest, subordinate officers are older than me in age and rank, for a snack the Finnish border is 10 kilometers away. For the first two years I did not take off my field uniform, I only came home to sleep. The kids, when they saw it, cried because mistaken for someone else's uncle. Then a long-term government trip "over the hill". Upon return, again the border. He graduated from the academy and again at the headquarters of the border divisions. If someone likes it, then you can think about where to go. As a result - 32 years of general service. The pension is such that you can choose an occupation (job) to your liking. For 12 years he worked as a mechanic for the repair of measuring instruments in the metrological department of the Moscow region, the salary is scanty, with other advantages - you get pleasure from work even near your home. I worked as an engineer, I don't like it as a boss. Output. 1. Never try to enter college if you are not ready for anything described above. 2. To be ready to be injured in the service and to the fact that, after dismissal, the Ministry of Defense will forget about you. 3. It is better to choose a profile of education with which it is easier to find an application for oneself after dismissal.

Hello Admin! Tell me, my son graduated from the school of a warrant officer, he wants to study further, as an officer. What actions from him: what, where and to whom to write? He concludes the contract this year, they said for 5 years (I mean after the warrant officer's school).

I recommend to all young people the MTO Academy graduated two years ago, very fond memories of the cadet's time! Excellent teachers and educational base, in addition to basic studies, here you can manifest yourself in scientific work, in sports competitions, in creativity.

Why go to academies where you were refused 2?
my son entered the MBAA in the city of St. Petersburg, although the contract ended the same, entered and is happy, you can enter it until the age of 27, so I advise this academy, you will not find it better, in other academies and collect money is not known for what

Hello! I have an incomplete higher education. I am 22 years old. This fall I want to go to the army on compulsory military service. And also, in the fall I will be 23 years old. Can I submit a report for admission to a military university after serving half a year? The fact is that next fall, in October, I will be 24 years old.

Alexander good evening, very interesting and informative blog. My son is finishing 11th grade this year and his dream of becoming a military man, from which we dissuade him from 8th grade. But we are failing. He is an excellent student, first-class boxing student, studies in physics and mathematics. Help me choose a military university where he could apply his knowledge in mathematics, computer science, physics and get a good specialty. When we applied to the military registration and enlistment office, we were told that without money, no matter what an excellent student and an athlete would be, no one would go. I really want our children's dreams to come true.

Thank you very helpful site. Please tell me what you would do in our situation. My son's contract ends in March. Now he is 22 years old, (a graduate of 2012) behind the compulsory military service and the contract is 3 years. Participant in hostilities. I don’t mind serving further, but I don’t want to remain without education either. As I understand it, the next year is the last year when you can enter VVU (born July 27, 1994). Maybe there are already some preparatory courses at VVU? Thanks.

Hello, I am finishing 11th grade. I want to enroll as a motorist in the Chelyabinsk Automobile School. After graduation, who will I work and where? What are the prospects?

Alexander, good afternoon! The son plans to enter a military university in St. Petersburg. I chose the Academy of Communications and the Mozhaisk Academy. Can you recommend where to apply? Or some other promising options? Thank you in advance!

Hello, what can you say about the Tyumen Higher Military Engineering Command School, my son finishes the 11th grade in a year and wants to enter the specialty "Use of controlled mining units and operation of radio-electronic means of engineering weapons" in accordance with FSES VPO 210602 Special radio engineering systems, and what can you say about this specialty?

I read the article, many thanks to the administrator for the information. I study in the 11th grade, and I thought about the question of where to go. Along with civilian universities, he took note of the military. Particularly interested in the obzat with motorists. There seems to be no such school in Ryazan, now it is in Omsk, if I'm not mistaken. I would like to know more about him. After reading the comments above, there was also a question about the exactingness of the profession in civilian life? I'm from Kazan

Hello, I accidentally found your site, I am reading it with great interest. The son is a second year student of NVVKU. Reading the articles, the comments realized that he went neither there, but it was too late to change anything, especially since it was his choice (they never thought about a military career for his son).
I have such a question (although you wrote that you do not know anything about this educational institution) whether my son will receive a driver's license. Thanks!

Hello Alexander, at the moment I am graduating from the Kursk railway technical school as a pom / machinist with honors. From the first years there was a desire to enter a military university, I considered the A.F. Mozhaisky Military Space Academy. According to rumors, I heard about the selection committee, the competition in general terms. I wanted to know how much to really do without connections and money, or do you still need to have a wallet in any university? What is the competition now? What is the fate of the graduates (is there a job)?
Where should you try to enter your specialty? I would not want to go to the St. Petersburg railway.
After graduation, they will most likely be taken into the army (19 years old) I would like to get into the railway troops, but from a conversation with the military commissar and his hints, I realized that this was problematic. How can you proceed?
There are many questions, no one can really answer!
Thank you in advance for your reply!

So Yuri Arkhipov became a cadet at a military university. He studies at the Krasnodar Higher Military School named after General of the Army S.M. Shtemenko at the Faculty of Technical Information Security. We contacted Yuri and asked him about his studies.
 - Yuri, tell me, why did you decide to become a military man?
- Because this profession (officer) allows you to become independent and independent from the very beginning of the path - from the first year of a military university. And the cadet son is the pride of the parents.
 - Why did you choose a military school so far from home - in the Krasnodar Territory?
- I considered different options, but of all the military school named after Shtemenko it seemed to me the most promising.
 - Was it difficult to enter there? What was required for this?
- For admission, the results of the unified state exam in computer science, mathematics, physics and the Russian language were required. Physical fitness was checked directly at the school, we also underwent professional selection.
 - What disciplines do you study?
- As in any higher educational institution, we study the basic disciplines of higher education, and, of course, general military disciplines.
 - What is the most interesting thing in training for you?
- Personally, I am attracted by exact sciences and technical subjects, of which there is a great variety in our university.
 - Do you have any difficulties in your studies?
- At the first session, I did not face any difficulties, although there were moments when it was possible to devote only a few hours to the preparation for the test. Everything will work out if you make an effort. Here I realized this from my own experience. The main thing is to do everything on time and not postpone it.
 - Yuri, you live thousands of kilometers from home. As a military man, do you live in barracks?
- In the first year, as in all military institutions, we, cadets, live in the barracks. In my case, with the signing of the contract, we will move to the hostel, which was commissioned after renovation this year. We have created all the conditions - you just need to study well and conscientiously serve.
 - As a military man, you probably live according to a strict daily routine?
- Yes, everything is strict with us: exercise, washing, breakfast, study, lunch, independent work, informing / sports masses, dinner, watching the news, personal time, sleep. And so every day.
 - Tell me, do you get a scholarship?
- Here we call it a monetary allowance. It is paid regularly and on time. These funds are enough for me. Materially, I am absolutely independent from my parents and other close people.
 - And how much money is spent per month for living?
- I hardly spend money, since there is no need for it. Only in our free time or on weekends we go to the Tea Room, sit in a calm atmosphere with our comrades. Of course, I spend a little money on layoffs.
 - Yuri, did you have any new hobbies while studying at the university?
- I began to devote more time to study, but otherwise my hobbies have not changed. In my free time, I usually review materials on disciplines, or communicate with my family by phone. I also pay a lot of attention to the statutes, since I wear the most honorable type of daily dress at the school - this requires knowledge of a large volume of articles and responsibilities, as well as additional guidance documents. Therefore, I am always in business.
 - What do you plan to do after graduation?
- After graduation and receiving an officer's rank, I am going to leave for distribution and continue my service.

Julia DAVYDOVA.

Relatives of one of the most influential Omsk residents of the 90s told SuperOmsk what Sergei Moiseenko had been living with in recent years.

Relatives of one of the most influential Omsk residents of the 90s told SuperOmsk what Sergei Moiseenko had been living with in recent years.

A pensioner and an athlete, a strong criminal authority and the largest benefactor of the 90s, the soul of a large family and a particularly dangerous criminal - this is all about him, about one Omsk. About Sergei Vasilievich Moiseenko. At the end of the 2000s, the media forgot about him, and after his death, even the capital's journalists remembered.

To understand what Sergei Moiseenko has actually lived for the last 7 years, the SuperOmsk correspondent met with his family - a widow and two daughters.

« On May 23, 2008, he left the colony and said:« Everything, no more crime, no meetings» , - recalls the widow Natalya Moiseenko. - He's always been like that. Gave the word - period. Said it suddenly and bluntly» .

The former entourage, it should be said, did not forget about him - alarm calls in the house rang more than once. Authoritative residents of Omsk suggested: "Seryoga, let's meet, we'll go to the lake and have a rest." Sergei Vasilyevich laconically, said "Thank you, I'll think about it", hung up the phone and ... stayed at home. An active person, last year he thought about going into politics. He joined the party of pensioners, became an assistant to the deputy of the city council Yevgeny Mavlyutov - he himself wanted to run for the city parliament, but then changed his mind. I decided to devote myself to my family.

« He loved his grandchildren, played a lot with them, arranged a house, made an inflatable pool, a bathhouse in the summer, was a good cook, made meat very tasty» , says daughter Natalya Moiseenko.

Another addiction of Sergei Vasilyevich is mushrooms. Moiseenko walked around almost all the forests of the city. He collected mushrooms, loved to fry them, but he was very restrained in hunting and fishing.

« He could not even touch a beast, let alone a man, - says the widow Natalya. - Yes, the 90s were not easy, but he himself did not kill anyone and did not give such orders to his people. They may have done bad things, but at their own discretion. Sergei was actually an authoritative person - many went to him for advice and were ready to fight for insults against him.» .

They say that a special meeting room was equipped on the second floor of the house. For help, advice, many people at one time went to authority - from businessmen and politicians to ... homeless people.

Moiseenko himself tried to do everything himself.

« He himself gouged the asphalt path near the house, surrounded the site with a brick fence, planted apple trees, cucumbers, tomatoes, - says daughter Irina. - I planted spruce not far from the house» .

They say that he himself usually shoveled the snow debris in the huge yard. Once a homeless man volunteered to help him - Sergei Vasilyevich thanked him with a large package of food.

In the 90s, Moiseenko was the chairman of the board of trustees of the international martial arts club "Saturn". The club was attended by orphans. In the photo, Sergei Moiseenko himself (in a blue and white sweatshirt) and other athletes.

On this occasion, other people slander: they say, talked, drank with just anyone, which ruined him.

Relatives of Sergei Moiseenko are surprised at rumors. Firstly, they have a normal bar with elite alcohol in their house. Secondly, Moiseenko himself tried to lead a healthy lifestyle. Back in 1991, he had a major accident in the Far East - his friend Andrei Varnavsky died on the spot, and Sergei survived, but became a disability pensioner. At the beginning of the 2000s, diabetes mellitus was added. Sergei Vasilyevich regularly injected insulin and took vitamins.

« He seemed to feel his death, recently began to talk about the need to plant a birch tree in the cemetery, asked to be put with a down pillow, - the widow Natalya Moiseenko cries. - As we get into the car, he has a song constantly playing.« I don’t want you to raise a son without a father alone» .

On Sunday evening, on the eve of the tragedy, Sergei Moiseenko went through almost the entire chassis of the car alone, went to bed and did not wake up - he fell into a coma. The doctors gave him two days, but he lasted almost a week.

It is known that he is survived by a wife, three daughters, a son and grandchildren. The son studies only in the 7th grade, is engaged in hockey. His father only wished him well.

« He should not become a bandit, - argued Sergei Moiseenko. - I want him to become a great military man or an important policeman» .

Ask a psychologist

Since childhood, my son dreamed of being a military man. He studied well, went in for sports, prepared himself for military service. The dream came true - he entered the military academy. My husband and I were not happy with his choice and often told him about the hardships and deprivations of military service. But the rash made his choice. And now, less than a year later, he started talking about how everything is not as he thought and that he wants to quit the Academy. What to do? Should you be persuaded to continue your studies, or to give the opportunity to decide your own destiny? With further admission to a civilian university there will be difficulties, I am afraid that he will not want to study further at all! My husband and I are already over 40, a little daughter is still growing, we live modestly financially. The son is a pissemist by nature and rather a consumer than an assistant to us in the future.

Hello Galina!

The son clearly needs support. It is not easy for him in this situation, there is a crisis. There are two types of support: moral support - listen carefully, lend a shoulder, give the right to your own opinion or support with advice: give a specific solution to a problem, an action plan, say what to do.

In this case, does he ask you for a specific solution to the problem? YES and in general, it does not seem like he asked for support. Maybe it’s not worth imposing advice that he didn’t ask for, especially at an age when he wants to be independent and separate from his family (which is normal for his age, it speaks of the maturity of the personality). Unsolicited advice usually provokes aggression and the desire to do the opposite. But moral support, even if it is uninvited, is never superfluous. If you unobtrusively listen, discuss, ask clarifying questions and say that you believe that he will cope - this will help in any way, and especially support from parents. It is very important and gives strength.

Your fears about the future can be expressed in the form of questions and discussed about the future with him. "How do you see your future?", "How are you going to earn money?"

Hello Galina! let's see what's going on:

Since childhood, my son dreamed of being a military man. He studied well, went in for sports, prepared himself for military service. The dream came true - he entered the military academy.

a dream differs from reality - he lived and expected from this study what he invented for himself (of course, you said that he could be expected, BUT he saw everything through his prism of perception), faced with reality - he had already realized in practice that the dream differs from the reality that everything that he invented for himself is just fiction - and now he wants to get away from it.

What to do? Should you be persuaded to continue your studies, or to give the opportunity to decide your own destiny?

You rightly pointed out - this is HIS fate - so let him make his own decisions. You should discuss with him - what will happen if he leaves? - what's next: either he enters and studies, or goes to work - since he needs to provide for himself and live on something; even to the point of separating it from yourself! The fact is that he can run away and hide behind his parents - if he has a roof over his head, food, clothes, the Internet, even quarrels about study-work, but there will be all this - then what is the motivation to either study or work? it simply DOESN'T - all the same to him is provided by his parents! therefore, you need to take a clear position that you will not provide for him - he will have to make decisions himself and take responsibility for his life. You can only be there, support him on his way, BUT do not go instead of him and DO NOT drag him on you!
