When to Apply for College 2018

The admission campaign in colleges and technical schools in 2018, as well as in universities, starts no later than June 20. The deadline for accepting applications will depend on the chosen specialty. For example, it will be possible to apply for documents for professions with creative and specialized tests until August 10. The deadline for accepting applications for specialties without entrance exams has been extended until August 15. Subject to availability of vacancies, the acceptance of documents is extended until November 25.

Entrance tests are considered completed after the announcement of the surname list of persons recommended for admission. This list can be found on the official website of the college or on its information stand.

Within five days after that, applicants who are enrolled without entrance examinations can bring the originals of documents to the educational institution. Applicants applying for the results of the entrance exams must submit the originals within seven days. Ten days before the start of the academic year, full-time enrollment ends.

The success of college admission largely depends on the correct set of documents provided by the applicant. The admissions office will require you to:

Points for college entrance

You cannot enter college without the results of the OGE / USE. Attestation for ninth-graders consists of four exams. Two of which are Russian and mathematics. The other two students can choose independently. Students of previous years who have not received a certificate are also allowed to the OGE.

In case of unsatisfactory results of the OGE, the student will be offered to take the exam again on a reserve day. If this attempt is unsuccessful, it will be possible to retake the exam only next year.

The passing score for 9th grade graduates is set according to the average grade of the school certificate, usually in the range from 3.5 to 5. For those who decided to enter college after grade 11, the passing score is built on the basis of the USE results - an average of 130 to a maximum of three subjects.

As we have already said, in some colleges it will be necessary to pass additional entrance tests on the basis of the educational institution itself. Therefore, when choosing a future place of study, be sure to clarify all the information on exams on the college website or in the admissions office.

There is a clear schedule of deadlines for submitting documents to universities, spelled out in the admission rules developed by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

Deadlines for submission of documents for budget places for the bachelor's and specialty programs

The bulk of applicants choosing bachelor's or specialist's programs will be able to start their admission from June 20... School graduates will receive their secondary education certificates only on June 24-25, so in reality on June 20, few people will carry their documents to the university's admissions office. The main flow of graduates will go to submit documents only after the prom, that is, after June 25-26.

For applicants applying only on a general basis (according to the passing USE scores, without the entrance profile exams of the university), the deadline for submission of documents is 26 July.

Applicants to faculties where additional creative tests are provided, for example, "journalism", "acting", "art history", design ", etc., the deadline for submission of documents is shortened from June 20 on 7 july... Creative tests in all universities are held at the same time - approximately from 11 on 26 July... Find out the exact information on the website of a specific university. It so happens that creative tests in two selected universities fell on one day. Do not be alarmed, there are reserve days for this.

Some Russian universities (for example, Moscow State University and MGIMO) conduct their own specialized exams. This year, the list of educational institutions that practice additional tests may expand.

When you submit documents, you should not immediately bring the original documents to the admissions office. At this stage, there is no need for them, and they will not affect the results of enrollment. The original documents will be required after you find yourself on the enrollment lists.

Terms of admission: until what date to submit documents to the university

The rules for admission to universities provide for two waves of admission to the undergraduate and specialty programs.

  • First wave of enrollment provides for 80% filling of budget places. In order to get into it, documents and a statement of consent for enrollment must be brought before August 1... The order to enroll the first wave, as a rule, is already formed August 3rd and is freely available.
  • Second wave enrollment fills the remaining 20% ​​of budget places. Enrollment consent and documents must be taken to the admissions office before 6 august... The enrollment order appears 8 August.

Deadlines for submission of documents to the magistracy (budget places)

Master's degree is the next stage of higher education. After the undergraduate degree, the student has the right to apply for a budgetary place in the university. Unfortunately, the end of the specialty program does not provide for such an opportunity.

It is better to clarify the deadlines for submission at the chosen university, since each educational institution has its own, but in any case, it will be necessary to submit documents no later than August 10.

Admission to the master's program always takes place on a competitive basis. Entrance tests for each university are individual, so check the information on the websites of the educational institution. Universities must provide all information for applicants to a master's program before June 1st.

Approximately at 20th of August there will already be enrollment orders. It should be borne in mind that there are very few budget-funded places in the magistracy. And if you do not manage to get into the list of lucky ones on the budget, then you will have the opportunity to enroll on a contract basis (for paid education). Bachelors who have received Russian diplomas of higher education can try to enroll in a master's program at foreign universities.

1. Non-specialized provisions

1.1. To organize a set of students, admit documents, and enroll in an educational institution who have passed the competition, an admission working group is organized.

The main task of the admission working group is to ensure that citizens' rights to education are respected, established by the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the legislation of the Russian Federation, and the openness and transparency of all admission procedures.

1.2. The admissions working group in its own work is guided by:

1.2.4. By orders of the Ministry of Education of Russia:

- dated January 23, 2014 No. 36 (registered by the Ministry of Justice of Russia dated March 6, 2014 No. 31529) "On approval of the procedure for admitting citizens to study in educational programs of secondary vocational education";

- dated October 29, 2013 No. 1199 (registered by the Ministry of Justice of Russia dated December 26, 2013 No. 30861) "On approval of the List of professions of secondary vocational education";

1.2.5. Charter RGTEU and these Rules of admission.

1.3. The head of the admissions office of the working group is the director of the educational institution. The composition of the reception of the working group is approved by order of the head of the central reception of the working group for one year.

The head of the reception working group commands the activities of the reception working group, is responsible for the implementation of the established admission control figures, compliance with legislation and regulatory legal documents in the field of education, determines the responsibilities of the members of the reception working group.

The assistant to the head of the reception of the working group is: assistant director for educational work.

The admissions working group begins work on accepting documents for admission:

The term of office of the admissions working group is one year.

Before the start of the work of the reception of the working group, by order of the head of the reception of the working group of the vocational school, the technical staff of the reception of the working group is approved to ensure its activities.

The composition of the reception is partially updated every year.

2. Organization of the work of the reception of the working group

2.1. The organization of the work of the reception of the working group is obliged to ensure the observance of individual rights and the fulfillment of national requirements for admission to educational institutions of secondary vocational education.

The work of the reception of the working group is drawn up in protocols, which are signed by the executive secretary and the chairman of the reception of the working group.

2.2. The admission working group prepares in advance various information materials, forms of the necessary documentation, conducts the selection of technical personnel, prepares reference materials for the professions, provides the conditions for storing documents.

2.3. Before the start of accepting documents, the admissions working group prepares a website and an information stand. which contains the following materials:

- the total number of places for admission for each profession;

- the number of budget places for admission for each profession;

- the number of places for each profession with payment of tuition fees;

- price for training;

- an example of a contract for applicants to places with payment of tuition fees;

- a copy of the license with an attachment for the right to conduct educational activities with an indication of the profession;

- a copy of the certificate with the attachment of national accreditation indicating the professions;

- Rules of admission;

- an example of filling out an application for admission, a list of imaginary documents and deadlines for submission;

- the procedure for enrolling in a technical school;

3. Organization of documents acceptance

3.1. When applying for admission to the profession certificate competition, the applicant submits documents: a document proving his identity, citizenship, imagines, at his own discretion, the original document of the national example of education or its photocopy, the required number of photographs 3x4, which are registered in the publication. The application form includes columns that provide for the fixation by the applicant (signature) of the following facts (familiarized):

3.1.1. with the Charter of RGTEU;

3.1.2. Regulations on MPT RGTEU;

3.1.3. with an application and a license to conduct educational activities;

3.1.4. with a certificate of national accreditation and an application;

3.1.5. with the "Rules of admission";

3.1.6. with the regulation of the competition of the certificate / diploma and the conditions of enrollment;

3.1.7. that, by providing information that does not correspond to reality, the College has the right to return the documents;

3.1.8. the deadline for submitting the original on education in the PC, for taking part in the competition up to 11

August 2014;

3.1.9 I confirm that I am acquiring secondary vocational education for the first time.

3.1.10 with other local regulations of the University, obtaining secondary vocational education for the first time.

Before the start of accepting documents, the pages of publications are stitched and sealed. On the day of the end of acceptance of documents, records in publications are closed with a final line, recorded with the signature of an important secretary and sealed.

3.2. For each applicant (entrant) a personal file is set up, in which all materials and documents handed over by him are kept, which are kept for 6 months from the date of submission of documents. The applicant is given a receipt for the acceptance of documents.

3.3. The admissions working group, in accordance with the documents taken from the applicant, accepts an answer about the conditions of his participation in the competition and notifies the applicant about it.

3.4. During the reception of documents, the admission working group posts on the website of the technical school and the information stand of the admissions working group information on the number of applications submitted for each profession, highlighting the forms of education (full-time, part-time).

3. 5. Applicants who have submitted deliberately fake documents to the reception office of the working group are liable under the laws of the Russian Federation.

3. 6. Upon written application, the applicant has the right to pick up his own educational document and other documents submitted by the applicant himself. The documents must be returned within the next working day after the end of the application, during the working hours of the admissions working group, subject to the submission of the “Receipt of Presentation of the Document” to the working group and the acceptance of documents proving his identity. The fact of issuance of documents is certified by the personal signature of the applicant in the "Registration Edition"

4. Organization of admission to the field with full reimbursement of training costs

4.1. Admission to places with full reimbursement of the costs of training for a specialty and each direction of training is carried out in excess of the admission control figures established for them within the limits of the number determined by the license.

4.2. For applicants to places with full reimbursement of training costs, the same set of requirements is established as for applicants for this course and program for training financed from the country's budget.

4.3. The relationship between a technical school, on the one hand, a legal entity or an individual, otherwise, for admission to places with full reimbursement of training costs is regulated by an agreement.

4.4. The agreement is drawn up upon submission of documents and applications for places with full reimbursement of training costs.

4.5. The organization of admission for the first year of study to places with full reimbursement of training costs is carried out in the following sequence: the technical school at one moment announces the admission of documents both to places financed from the country's budget, and to places with full reimbursement of training costs.

Persons who did not pass the competition for places financed from the budget of the country will be able to take part in the competition for places with full reimbursement of training costs.

4.6. The order for admission to the composition of students is formed in accordance with the memo of the important secretary of the admissions working group no later than August 20, 2014

5. The procedure for enrollment.

5.1. At the end of the deadline for submitting the originals of education documents, the head of the admissions working group issues an order for the enrollment of persons who are recommended by the admissions work group for enrollment and who submitted the originals of the relevant documents. The appendix to the enrollment order is a family list of these persons.

The order with the attachment is posted the next working day after the end of the publication at the information stand of the reception of the working group and on the website of the vocational school.

If the number of applicants exceeds the number of places, the financial support of which is carried out at the expense of budgetary allocations of the country's budget, admits for training in educational programs of secondary vocational education in professions on the basis of the results of the mastering by applicants of the educational program of the main non-specialized or secondary (complete) non-specialized education indicated in the submitted applicants documents of the national example of education.

5.2. Enrollment in an educational organization, subject to the availability of free places, can be carried out until October 01 of this year. The admission procedure is carried out on the basis of the results of the competition for the educational document.

If the sequence of applicants who have passed the competition refuses to be enrolled, or if there is no timely confirmation of their consent to enrollment, the original documents are not submitted in time, the set is made from applicants included in the reserve list.

5.3. The response of the admissions office of the working group about admission to the composition of students is drawn up in a protocol, which indicates the grounds for admission (by competition).

5.4. Based on the response of the admissions office of the working group, the head issues an order on admission to students on time, which is brought to the attention of the applicants.

5.5. Enrolled in the number of students, certificates are issued for submission to the educational institutions they graduated from, and for registration of dismissal from work in connection with admission to a technical school.

5.6. Persons who have taken the documents are eliminated from the competition.

6. Reporting of the admissions working group

6.1. The work of the reception of the working group ends with a report on the results of admission at the meeting of the Council of the educational institution.

As reporting documents, when checking the work of the reception of the working group, the following are taken into account: Rules for admission to the technical school, documents confirming the control set number and numbers of admission of additional places, instructions for approving the composition of the reception of the working group, minutes of the reception of the working group, the publication of registration of incoming documents; orders for admission to the composition of students.


The Ministry of Education and Science in 2018 will continue to test new rules regarding the deadlines for admission to universities. Order of the Ministry of Education and Science No. 1147 was adopted back in 2016, on October 14. According to the text of the order, since 2017, new procedures for the admission of future bachelors, specialists and masters have been established. The order gives clear instructions to universities to post information on the dates of admission no later than October 1 of the new academic year. Including the information should reflect the terms for correspondence students. In addition to these innovations, the ministry introduced such a concept as "consent to enrollment", but about everything in order.

By 01.06.2018, universities and institutions of secondary vocational education should announce on their websites or specially designated places in institutions:

The number of budget and paid places in 2018,
- the total number of places for target admission,
- the number of places or benefits for the winners of the Olympiads and All-Russian championships,
- all information about hostels, including prices for accommodation and number of places,
- a full schedule of entrance examinations for applicants (dates and locations are indicated).

- June 20- the beginning of the acceptance of documents for admission,
- 7 july- the last day of accepting documents from persons applying for the results of additional entrance exams,
- 10 july- the last day of accepting documents from applicants based on the results of entrance examinations conducted by the university independently,
- 26 July- the last day for accepting documents from applicants only according to the results of the exam

Results of enrollment in the university in 2018

- July 27- the last day for the institution to publish the lists of applicants.

- July 28 - 29- priority admission of applicants entering the university out of competition basis and in target areas (20% of the number of places in the university),

- July 29- the last day of publication of competitive lists of applicants for 80% of budget places remaining after 20% of applicants for priority admission.

What is "Consent to Enrollment" in the new university admission procedure?

The most important change in the procedure for admission to universities since 2017 can be called the introduction of a new document called "Consent to Enrollment". It is submitted by the applicant to the admissions office of the educational institution no later than 2 days before the release of the order of the university on enrollment with the obligatory indication of only one specialty. At the same time, the applicant, as it was before, can apply for admission to 5 universities at once (no more) and indicate a maximum of 3 specialties in his application, it is important not to miss the deadline - no later than 2 days before the enrollment order is issued. Consent to enrollment is required for enrollment in any specialty, any educational program, it indicates the data regarding admission and admission. Those applicants who submit documents within the target enrollment quota must submit consent for admission immediately with an application for admission and the original document of education.
