The assessment of the level of general education of candidates entering higher education programs is carried out according to the results of the unified state exam (hereinafter - the USE), obtained in 2016 - 2020, as well as for certain categories of graduates of educational organizations - according to the results of entrance tests conducted by the academy independently and rated on a 100-point scale.

Candidates from among certain categories of graduates of educational organizations can submit the corresponding USE results as the results of entrance examinations conducted by the academy independently in one or several general education subjects.

The minimum number of USE points approved by the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation is used as the minimum number of points for all forms of general educational entrance examinations.

The results of assessing the level of general education of candidates based on the results of the Unified State Exam are announced to the candidates no later than one day after the end of the verification of the reliability of information about the candidate's participation in the Unified State Exam and the results of the Unified State Exam in the federal information system for ensuring the state final certification of students who have mastered the basic educational programs of basic general and secondary general education , and the admission of citizens to educational organizations for secondary vocational and higher education (hereinafter - FIS USE). The level of physical fitness of candidates is assessed in accordance with the Manual on Physical Training in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (NPP-2009), approved by order of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation No. 200 dated April 21, 2009, on a 100-point scale based on the results of three test elements (exercises) :

Officer candidates take the exam in accordance with the standards for their age group.

Exercises are performed in sportswear.

If the minimum threshold for one of the exercises or for the sum of the results of performing three exercises is not overcome, the requirements for the candidate are considered unfulfilled, the candidate is recognized as unfit for admission according to the level of physical readiness and is removed from further professional selection.

Exercise to improve the score obtained is not permitted.

The results of assessing the level of physical fitness of candidates are communicated to the candidates or his legal representatives no later than one day after the entrance test.

For candidates from among the winners and prize-winners of school Olympiads held in accordance with the procedure established by the federal executive body in charge of developing state policy and legal regulation in the field of education, for four years following the year of the corresponding Olympiad, the results of the general educational entrance tests corresponding to the profile of the Olympiad are equated to 100 points if they have USE results in this subject not less than 75 points.

The selection committee monitors the accuracy of the information specified in the application for admission (on the candidate's participation in the USE and on the results of the USE, on participation in school Olympiads, on the candidate's individual achievements, etc.), and the authenticity of the submitted documents. When carrying out this check, the selection committee has the right to contact the relevant state information systems, state (municipal) bodies and organizations.

An appeal on the results of the entrance test, conducted in the form of the Unified State Exam, in chemistry, biology, and the Russian language may be filed at the place where the Unified State Exam is held, in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation. The answer to the appeal must be provided by the candidate to the secretariat of the selection committee no later than one day before the final meeting of the selection committee to make a decision on the admission of candidates. Otherwise, the result obtained by the selection committee from the FIS USE is applied. If the USE result is below the established minimum value, the candidate is not allowed to be considered in the competition list.

Candidates and their legal representatives (parents, if the candidate is a minor) on the day of the announcement of the results of the entrance test conducted by the academy independently, or during the next working day, have the right to familiarize themselves with their work (with the work of the applicant), and also apply to the secretariat of the selection committee with an application on the explanation of the given mark in accordance with the procedure established by the head of the academy.

The appeal is submitted in writing on the day of the announcement of the results of the entrance test or within the next working day. The appeal is considered no later than the next business day after the day of its submission. Applicants and their legal representatives have the right to be present during the consideration of the appeal. Appeals from second persons, including relatives, are not accepted or considered.

Consideration of the appeal is not a retake or re-passing of the entrance test. During the consideration of the appeal, only the observance of the established procedure for the admissions test and (or) the correctness of the assessment of the results of the admissions test is checked.

Applications, applications, complaints of candidates and their legal representatives are accepted for consideration in the secretariat of the selection committee in person, as well as through public postal operators or in the form of an electronic document. The candidate is obliged to inform the secretariat of the selection committee about the impossibility to pass the exams for health reasons or other documented reasons before the start of the exam.

Repeated professional selection events with the candidate are not carried out.

V. The procedure for enrolling candidates entering for training by cadets

Candidates who have passed the professional selection are included in the competitive lists for the enrollment of candidates by cadets in the academy and, based on the results of the competition, are enrolled in training.

Competitive lists for the enrollment of candidates by cadets in the academy are drawn up according to the levels of professional education and specialties of training.

Candidates entering higher education programs (specialty) are placed in the competitive lists depending on the amount of points that determines the level of general education (points for each general education subject of entrance tests are summed up), the level of physical fitness and individual achievements.

Candidates applying for training in programs of secondary vocational education are placed in the competitive lists depending on the value of the average score of the certificate of secondary general education.

At the same time, candidates classified according to the results of professional psychological selection to the third category of professional suitability are placed in the competition list after candidates referred to the first and second categories of professional suitability, regardless of the amount of points received.

Candidates with an equal number of points are entered into the competition list in the following sequence:

  • first of all- candidates who enjoy the priority right when entering military educational institutions;
  • secondarily- candidates who received a higher score in a specialized general education subject - chemistry (candidates entering secondary vocational education programs - who received a higher score in assessing their level of physical fitness);
  • in the third place- candidates who received a higher score in the general subject - biology.

Candidates who have not passed the professional selection will not be included in the competition lists. Lists of candidates who were refused admission to the academy are drawn up on them, indicating the reasons for the refusal.

The reasons for not passing professional selection include:

  • the candidate receives the results of the exam or the entrance test conducted by the academy independently in a general education subject (chemistry, biology, Russian) less than the minimum number of points approved for the year of admission in the declared specialty of training;
  • recognition of the candidate as unfit for health reasons for admission to the academy;
  • assignment of the candidate to the fourth category of professional suitability;
  • getting an unsatisfactory mark in physical fitness;
  • refusal by the candidate to enter the academy after the start of professional selection;
  • failure to appear without a good reason at the scheduled time for the professional selection event (entrance test);
  • failure to submit the original education certificate within the prescribed period;
  • refusal of a candidate to further pass professional selection due to lack of discipline.

The next military educational institution on the agenda is the Kirov Military Medical Academy.

Two of the most famous facts: the academy is located in St. Petersburg, and after the military medical academy, the best doctors are obtained. At least according to the reviews of those doctors with whom I had a chance to communicate closely.

The establishment is prestigious, so let's see if it is easy to get there, and whether it is worth doing.

Admission

The admission procedure itself is simple.

Collect all the documents and send them through the military registration and enlistment office to the Academy (preferably in April). Then calmly study at your school in April and May, in June you take the exam, if everything is in order with the documents, you receive a call to the Academy for July.

You come on call to Krasnoe Selo, live there and pass the tests, and if someone does not pass something, they will immediately be sent home. And at the end of July you will find out whether you entered it or not.

Timing

Deadlines for submission of documents for:

  • military personnel - April 01
  • graduates of the Suvorov schools - April 20
  • citizens residing on the territory of military units outside Russia - until May 20

A complete set of documents, including a medical card, must be submitted by May 20 (for military personnel, by May 15). Training camps start on June 01 and 10. The result must be announced no later than July 30th.

Entrance tests

Applicants are expected to test their knowledge of chemistry, biology and the Russian language. There will also be health checks, fitness checks and physical fitness.

In addition to psychological and behavioral aspects, the test of professional aptitude includes questions on the school curriculum of Russian, chemistry and biology. They are not very complicated and, in fact, are designed to check the validity of the USE assessments.

For physical training, you will need to pass the 3 km and 100 m run, and 30 pull-ups (boys).

How many USE points do you need

The minimum scores are known in advance. In particular, with the Kirov Military Medical Academy, the situation is as follows:

You will have to take Russian language, chemistry, biology. In this order, the scores are given for the subjects, separated by a slash:

  • General Medicine 60/65/60
  • Dentistry 60/65/60
  • Preventive medicine 50/50/50
  • Pharmacy 50/50/50

Once again, these are the minimum points. If there are more of them, the chances of enrollment increase. Although we remember that even excellent USE scores do not guarantee admission to a military university.

No cronyism?

Many alumni call this place "the academy of fathers and children." Nevertheless, it is quite possible to do from the street.

Are girls hired?

There is a serious question here, almost about gender discrimination. The military department believes that military doctors should be exclusively men. Otherwise, how can we explain that the recruitment of girls is carried out here only “According to the programs of secondary vocational education
with average military-special training "- a quote from the website of the website of the Ministry of Defense of Russia. Moreover, it must be understood that even though this is the situation of the permitted recruitment of girls to military universities for 2018 (recruitment of girls to military universities in 2018), this practice has existed before ().

That is, a nurse or a paramedic - please, but to become a super doctor or to move science, this is not about you. Is it a shame? Naturally. But you have to choose from what they give. Still, a number of military universities take girls to higher special education.

But there are no others, namely military medical universities, in the set for 2018. That is, there is no choice, either according to the secondary education program, or to wait, suddenly what will change next year. And we remember that the age for admission to military universities is limited.

Or you go to a civil higher education for money, it is here. For example, a paid civilian hospital for a medical case costs 160-200 thousand rubles a year, for dentistry 210 thousand rubles a year. Plus there will be expenses for accommodation and food, because civilians are not provided with a hostel.

But even if you have money, you dreamed about military education, right?

Pay attention to the military aspect!

Future medical students, pay attention. Some of the children from the civilian world are mistaken, believing that in fact they enter a medical university with the highest quality training.

This is not true. This is primarily a military educational institution. This means that you need to be prepared for military discipline and rules, for example:

  • barracks mode for 1 and 2 courses (dismissals to the city no more than 3 times a day in the absence of debts, penalties, etc., life in the barracks, organized meals, exercise, canteen outfits, etc.)
  • sign a contract, according to which you will have to work for 5 years where they will be sent, but they are sent far away, and rarely to prestigious places. They will be distributed well only if you are “your own” or an excellent student of study and behavior without a single reprimand for the entire time, and this is a maximum of 1-2 people from the course
  • you cannot earn money on an ambulance, as students of other medical universities do

But all this undoubtedly pays off by the level of teaching.

Them. CM. Kirov has existed for more than 200 years, and all this time it has been producing highly qualified specialists in the field of medicine, who save lives around the world every day. Many of the university graduates are rightfully considered the leading physicians of our time.

History

The official date of the creation of the academy is considered the end of December 1798, it was then that Emperor Paul I signed a decree on the creation of medical schools at existing hospitals. Then she bore the status of a school, however, it was not for long. Since 1808, the university has received the name "Imperial Medical and Surgical Academy".

Military Medical Academy named after S.M. Kirov at one time influenced the development of pharmaceutical and veterinary education, it is there that you can find the originals of the first medical textbooks, which are considered the fundamental basis of modern medicine. In the period from 1808 to 1904, the academy was actively developing, it was actively helped in this by the holders of the throne, as well as titled advisers and officials.

At the beginning of the 20th century, a split occurred, some of the teachers did not support the new government and went to work abroad. All those who remained helped the new government to build relationships with the people and provided assistance to the wounded as a result of the Civil War. In the early 20s of the XX century, the Military Medical Academy named after V.I. CM. Kirov focused on the development and further teaching of special military-type disciplines.

Over the entire history of the Academy, about 300 of its graduates have become outstanding scientists in various fields of science, for which the university was awarded the title of an institution of world importance. In 1998, the Academy became one of the most valuable objects of the cultural heritage of all peoples of the Russian Federation.

Military Medical Academy named after S.M. Kirov: what to do?

For admission, the applicant will need to provide a standard package of documents: a copy of a passport, a copy of a school certificate or other document confirming the presence of higher education, a certificate of passing the Unified State Exam, two 3x4 photos, and also fill out an application in the form established by the university.

Citizens of the Russian Federation aged 16 to 22 can become students, provided that they have not completed military service. If, nevertheless, they served, then the age limit increases to 24 years. If we are talking about military personnel who serve on a contract basis, they can enter the academy up to the age of 25. If the applicant enters to receive secondary vocational education, his age must be less than 30 years.

Passing points

Them. Kirov, which changes annually, invites applicants who have not passed the Unified State Exam for one reason or another to pass it upon admission. For each specialty, there are certain thresholds in points that must be overcome by the applicant to participate in the competition.

There are four specialties in the academy: General Medicine, Preventive Medicine, Pharmacy and Dentistry. To get to the first specialty, you need to score 55 points on the exam in chemistry, and 50 points in Russian and biology.

For successful passage to the specialty "Dentistry" you need to score 50 points in all three subjects. On the specialty "Pharmacy" you need to score 45 points in chemistry and 40 in Russian and biology. For admission to the specialty "Preventive Medicine" it is enough to score 40 points in all three subjects.

Help for beginners

Military Medical Academy. Kirov, in which assistance is provided constantly, invites everyone to take preparatory courses. It is there that you can improve your own knowledge of the Russian language, chemistry and biology - those subjects that must be taken on the exam for admission.

There are several methods and preparatory programs that can be used to study at the academy. Tuition is paid, the detailed cost and schedule of classes can be clarified at the university's admissions committee, which works from May to August. Among other things, you can ask for help from the students of the university themselves, they will be happy to advise all the nuances necessary for admission and help to cope with the solution of all pressing issues.

University reviews

Military Medical Academy. Kirov, reviews of which even foreign students and guests leave, is a real field for experiments, which can be used by those who are eager to improve their own knowledge, skills and abilities. That is why students from other countries often come here, wishing to receive a quality medical education.

All students and graduates speak positively about the educational institution, which gave them their favorite profession. Most of the graduates work in their specialty, some of them are engaged in private practice. Quite often, graduates come to the university for advice from their former teachers, and they never refuse them.

University structure

If we talk about the structure of the university, then the Military Medical Academy. CM. Kirov has grown very much during its more than 200-year history. As of 2015, there are 7 faculties, more than 40 secondary vocational education, two medical colleges, and its own admission department.

In addition, the university has many laboratories where clinical research is carried out, an experimental clinic, a pharmaceutical center, the Research Institute of Military Medicine, an advisory center, a dental clinic, and a large number of other medical institutions, each of which is open to students and patients around the clock.
