Born a nobleman. Roman Zlotnikov, Anton Kornilov “Born nobleman Born nobleman 2 download fb2

First of all, this book has nothing to do with “Knights of the Threshold” plot-wise. I admit that you can attach this beginning of a new cycle to the old one, but it will look like a tea mug taped to the monitor. Strange, stupid, incomprehensible, and most importantly, “why”? It seems to me that there is simply some kind of mistake related to the fact that this is the same pair of authors.

Now about the work itself. A very vague thing. In terms of the confusion of the plot and ideas, it can successfully compete with the extremely weak “Elite of Elites”.

In fact, the book is a mixture of modern nonsense with the author's ideas, which he tries to convey to the reader from book to book. Only if in previous works the ideas could be called ill-conceived and very controversial, then here some kind of confusion happened.

Again, a semi-fascist militarized monarchical state as a bright dream, the hereditary elite - “nobles”, etc. and so on. But anyone who has read Roman's previous books will be disappointed. There is little new here, everything is the same. Only now some kind of esotericism, superpowers and other dregs are added.

It turns out that the author himself admits that his monarchical dreams in natural physical conditions are the same reality as “torsion fields” and the “self-cleaning Petrik-Gryzlov filter.” By the way, as the plot progresses, he leads the reader to this idea. Having immersed the heroes in a dark environment, the author first hammers into the reader the idea that blackness is the fruit of the inaction of ordinary people, their reluctance to fight, and not at all an inability. Well, yes, in some places perhaps so. The idea is not the stupidest, although it is primitive. But by the end of the book, the author himself turns everything upside down, telling us that only a superhero with superpowers can help us. Those. You can only hope for a miracle.

So it turns out that ideologically the work is weak and lacks integrity, which makes it not at all interesting. Well, besides ideology, what’s left in the book? Yes, the same as in any dark crime series on the zombie box. Is this necessary?

I have never written reviews... I am 36 years old and a hard cynic and have been working for 15 years in an extremely cynical field. I really liked the book. Not the plot... not the literary genre or style... not the idea as a whole... and not the happy ending at the end. The author really shows us how rotten weaklings WE are all inside, and this costs a lot. Each of us in the mentorship, in the hospital with broken toilets, in the ministry with bribes, in the Duma with lobbyists, in schools with extortions... WE all want happiness and prosperity for our children, parents, wives. But EVERYONE in his own cell of the existing system is pissing to change something, to go against the system and say this very thing: “I absolutely forbid this!” Everyone invents shitty excuses for themselves why they are weak... doctors say that they save children by working in the “shit” and enduring “shit” around them, the police say that they are unable to go against the system, teachers consider themselves heroes only because they teach.. . and so on. Everyone has a mini world invented and justified by themselves, their own mini religion... and it would be worthy to at least admit it and try to comprehend it and change something in themselves. A book CHANGES something inside the person who reads it, and there are almost no such books left, so it is more valuable than many others, even if it contains a lot of logical errors and fantastic assumptions.

A superhero, even if not a wizard yet, but “I’m just learning,” against super-evil, even if it’s a small-town one. (I even wanted to put the “Dark Lord” marker in the classifier))). But such super-evil does not exist in the regions. Well, oh well, for some reason superheroes don’t come to us either. More specifically, we have before us a mix of Zlotnikov’s ideas about an ideal state (the poor hero falls to us from precisely such a utopia) and a modern mafia action movie “a la Russe.” The first is represented by pathetic cliches with an attempt at aphorism, the second... the second has not changed since the early 90s, when a stream of reading material filled the shelves. The only difference is in the class of presentation (in this case, the level is sufficient not to cause a negative reaction).

Overall, the opus turned out to be rather weak. Perhaps the strongest component is the style: sleek, clean, no frills, but it will do. Thanks to this, it’s realistic to dedicate an evening to UD. Everything else can be criticized in different ways and from different points of view. Some people are deeply disgusted by monarchical-militaristic motives, some are completely tired of Akyn’s songs of the “I’ll kill everyone, I’ll be left alone” series, some...

P.S. But the worst thing is that I personally don’t see a future for the series. It is clear that the Zlotnikov trademark will continue to be popular for a long time, and therefore bring profit. But there simply cannot be a decent plot and semantic development of the UD. If the co-authors find a way out, I'll take my hat off.

In principle, all of Zlotnikov’s books are similar to each other, but, as comrade sinmikhail correctly noted below, he is still interesting to read. For me, Zlotnikov has long been an author whom I could turn to when a situation arises - I need to read something (a road, a queue, depending on my mood, etc.), but I don’t have anything specific and pre-selected at hand. I was always ready to take on it, even knowing in advance that the book would probably have emotional stress, a special aggravation of the details of certain atrocities committed by the enemies of the GG, and the hero himself would be a kind of knight without fear, reproach and doubt. Standard, but familiar and interesting. However, here, to be honest, I got a little lost. Everything seems to be as usual, and the idea is clear: “a certain foreign person (of course, with special abilities, otherwise we can’t do it otherwise) awakens real human qualities in people and wonders why people don’t want to be honest people and obey the laws.” The message itself is, in principle, clear, but its implementation makes you think. Moreover, it is not clear who is to blame, either everything was written by a new little-known author, and Zlotnikov’s name was used for marketing purposes, or, indeed, Zlotnikov no longer knows what to write about, and is experimenting with new moves.

I won’t say anything about the main character, he is of the same type, standard as an amoeba and completely uninteresting as a person and a character in the book. As the author himself wrote, he is a foreign body in our society, he has his own concepts of morality, which he considers the only true ones and in every possible way instills them without particularly caring about the fates and thoughts of those who follow him (moreover, there is clearly something -zombification, but the author is silent about this, as it is undoubtedly negative and incompatible with the ideal GG). As one of the “evil cops” rightly said to Guy Tregray in relation to his former colleague, who had taken the True Path, “what a guy he ruined”! Until the very end of the book, I personally was on the side of the “corrupt”, but living, humane and real police officers, as well as the main enemy, a businessman-philanthropist, because whatever one may say, if you look at it, he was many times more useful to this city than from a zealot of piety who fell out of nowhere. Apparently the author himself, by the end of the book, realized that the main enemy was turning out to be painfully positive, and as a result, his image was supplemented with the qualities of a nymphophile cocaine addict. Moreover, if you look closely, it becomes clear that both at the beginning and at the end of the book there are images of completely different people, and, taking into account the fact that in the course of the book there is no mention of any transformation of him, it becomes clear that this addition was made out of despair , so that the reader would finally have the thought “how the earth bears him!” and “how long!”

Despite the fact that the book ends with a hint of a continuation, the question arises: “Is it necessary?” Perhaps it would be better for everyone, both the reader and the authors, to simply forget about this “Zlotnikov fan fiction” as an annoying, but useful literary experience for a young writer?

Today it is rare to find good literature. And when I say “good,” I don’t mean “beautifully written” or “full of action,” but literature that carries some kind of semantic load. And useful.

This book is very topical and shows our everyday life from an unpleasant, but important angle. The degradation of morality and such basic human concepts as honor, pride and honesty are almost lost and this is exactly what you begin to see after it. I was surprised to find such a book from a popular contemporary writer. And its value is not in good language, an interesting plot or lively characters. No. She makes people better - and this is very rare.

A little like the usual Zlotnikov (Berserkers, Eternal, Gron). Recently, books under the author’s name are full of enthusiastic semantic content in the style of “Russians are the best, Russians are forward!” Alas, at the same time, the rest of the meaning decreases from book to book. Heroes know what is right and good, and if you know what is right and good, does anything else matter?

Easy to read, although I had to wince in places.

This could have been a great book if it weren't so bad.

A super warrior with mental abilities, an excellent student in combat and drill training, a handsome man, a Komsomol member and just a great guy from the world of the triumph of Justice and Order comes to us, into a dirty and gray world that exists “according to concepts.” The young man adapts very quickly and begins to do good left and right, getting into various troubles along the way.

If the events taking place in the book were set in harsh totalitarian years, I would say without a doubt that the book was mediocrely copied from “The Inhabited Island.” But the action takes place in our days and I started reading with interest. Agree, it is interesting to learn about the development of the conventional Maxim Kammerer in our time, about the change in his perception, about the trials and errors that he could make in an effort to improve our lives.

Unfortunately, there is none of this in the book. The main character seems to be hewn from stone. It is monumental and inspires respect, but it is not alive. A doll that is capable of acting only according to a given program. A puppet in the hands of the author, through whom the respected Roman Valerievich speaks about the ideal world, from his point of view. Yes, the world of Eden as presented by Zlotnikov is good, but it is no different from the main character of the book - just as monumental, stone and... dead.

The novel, as has already been noted, is read quite easily and naturally; detached dialogues about right and wrong can be easily skipped - unfortunately, there is nothing but water in them.

Rating: 5

It reminded me of Golovachev from the mid-nineties. One superhero against our immoral society))). Well, there’s plenty of moralizing, of course. But it is quite easy to read, despite the inserts about the meaning of life.

Rating: 7

Yes, the book is not for everyone. Not in the sense that “you, reader, need to grow up...” - God forbid from such moralizing. I'm talking about something completely different. About the controversial nature of the message itself, which, if misunderstood (not with the “author’s intonation,” if you like), is capable of blurring the entire impression (planned by the authors), as they say.

Because, from a formal point of view, both the fantastic Idea and the fantastic Entourage (as well as everything else necessary for “fixing membership in the genre”) are fully represented. From the point of view of the genre itself - “as per instructions”, there’s nothing to complain about.

But personal perception “it happens - it doesn’t happen” - this is much more complicated, since it turns out to be quite strongly “colored” by various aspects of the perception of a particular reader. And in the list of these aspects, not least in place are political, moral (in the high sense of the word), etc.

In the end, truths like “...judge not, lest ye be judged...” or “...I tell you: do not resist evil. But whoever hits you on your right cheek, turn the other to him too...” - they are far from being ambiguous, not “THE WERE once,” and today they remain just as ambiguous. After millennia of the Cult. Alas, this is, as they say, “who studied what”, this is a question of conscious choice of the Personality. And here there is no right or wrong.

For those who haven’t read it yet, but are already about to get upset like “...oooh, another non-resistance to evil with violence, another holy fool...” - I hasten to please: what are you, brothers and sisters, this is such a noble mess that “Streets of Broken Lanterns” - they smoke nervously on the sidelines. Ours “gives them a light” so much that you just get swayed. Only now - not “immediately in the face”, but first - as a rule, they will say “that’s not good, what are you doing here, my friend: stop it, otherwise I’ll roughly punish you.” Because he was born a nobleman and was raised that way. Only the “nobles” are not “ours”, so to speak, but quite the opposite - they are from another planet, from the opposite end of the Galaxy. Or - in general - the Universe, it is not specified.

So think, dear potential reader, whether it is not the ostentatious, but, as they say, “imbibed with mother’s milk” concepts of Honor, Dignity, and Duty that irritate you. If they don’t irritate you, feel free to read it, YOUR book. Well, if you think that all of this is complete bullshit, a fairy tale for fools - well, don’t read it, it turns out it’s not yours

Rating: 10

Probably, first of all, the book will be of interest to those who had even the slightest connection to the army, because ninety percent of the action in it takes place inside the military unit and the small army team itself. Several conscripts end up in the “troops”, where they face the oppression of hazing and the absolute indifference of their “father-commanders”.

And who knows what the fate of the guys would have been if one of them had not been... But who Oleg was, alas, is not entirely clear from the text of the first book. The authors preferred to leave the mystery of this man's appearance for later.

There are plenty of sad moments in the novel, as well as a somewhat straightforward philosophy. But it reads well, and there is a desire to find out what happened next.

Quotes from the book “Born Nobleman” Anton Kornilov, Roman Zlotnikov

“Yes,” confirmed Ignatius. - The same one. Our unique one. Inconceivably gifted, poised for a brilliant future.

But, in general, you need to do like one of my friends. In short, she bought herself a real iPad, and put a photo of our head of the criminal police in uniform on her contact “Dad.” Contact “Uncle” - a photo of the district prosecutor, also in uniform. And to the contact “Brother” - a photo of a hefty riot policeman, in full parade, of course. So this iPad was stolen from her three times. And they threw me back three times. Wow!

The name of Roman Zlotnikov is known to all fans of the combat science fiction genre. He co-wrote the book “Born Nobleman” with Anton Kornilov. Here you can see a very eventful plot. The main character is a stranger, but most often in books it is our man who finds himself on an alien planet or in a parallel world, but here - a stranger finds himself on our planet. This is already a very interesting idea.

On the one hand, the hero seems too young and sometimes naive, which will attract teenage readers more, but on the other hand, one must keep in mind that the book contains a lot of cruel, even disgusting, scenes. Here you can see the idea of an ideal state, and also think about whether it is realistic to build it.

Oleg is a subject of the great Empire, a cadet of the Higher Military Academy, he has outstanding abilities and martial arts skills. He is used to living in a world where goodness and justice reign. And so Oleg somehow ended up on our planet. He saw that everything here was not as perfect as he was used to. Oleg will try to show how to really live, how important goodness and good deeds are. But how successful he will be, how easy it will be for him to get used to our world with its shortcomings is another question.

About the book “Born Nobleman” Anton Kornilov, Roman Zlotnikov

What will happen if a hereditary nobleman, a resident of a developed alien civilization, is thrust into an unfamiliar and less developed reality, let’s say...on Earth, in the Russian Federation, in our days? How will the main character feel when his ideas about an ideal society collide with the difficult realities of today's Russia? An ordinary resident, not greatly burdened by intellect and any moral values, would simply try to survive in this too tough, new world for him. But Oleg Guy Tregrey is a born nobleman, the concept of morality, honor, and duty to his homeland was hammered into his head from the cradle. He tries not only to survive in these strange realities, but also to correct everything that seems wrong to him, and most importantly, the thoughts of the people who allowed such an existence. The civilization where the young man comes from is at a higher stage of development than the current alternative reality, and the main character has a long, painstaking job to do in order to change at least something in the minds of the people living here.

Oleg quickly adapts to the local realities and begins to change this world for the better, but constantly gets into various troubles. After all, the authorities always benefit from zombified inhabitants; the intelligence of those under their care should always strive to a minimum - such a herd is easier to manage. Our main character is different from other people, just a role model. Handsome, strong, a cadet of the Higher Imperial Military Academy, an excellent student in combat and drill training, and even possessing super abilities. Only he can turn this world in the right direction.

The author very well managed to show in his work a real hero - a calm, self-confident man who inspires the reader to fight against evil. The writer conveys to us the right idea: if you don’t like today’s reality, then first start with yourself. What have you done to make your life better? Many people are simply panicky afraid of any changes in their lives; they are very weak in front of the existing reality, in front of the system. Our reality...this is shabby hospitals with broken toilets, this is a school with countless fees for the fund and repair of the classroom, countless departments and ministries with corruption and bribes...Isn’t all this terrible? And we ourselves breed this, since we agree to such vile conditions of existence. We all want prosperity and well-being for ourselves and our loved ones, but we are desperately afraid to change anything. And we all convince ourselves that fighting windmills is unrealistic. After all, it is always easier to find your own personal excuses than to try to do something.

This work is not just a fantastic action movie with action elements, it is a book that makes a person think. If you step out of the framework of the system of collective thinking, find courage in yourself, you can change everything. After all, all is not lost yet.
