Traditionally, the Shadrinsky Pedi Institute has been published by memorabilia, which reflect the most significant events of the past decades, are absorbed by the fate of people whose talents and efforts were created, grew, our university developed. In 1999, he saw the first such edition created on the basis of memories of teachers, employees and veterans of the Shgpie. In it, unique historical and archival materials were collected, which are few well-known. Without exaggeration, it still retained its significance as a source on the history of higher education in the Urals. The second anniversary book, published in 2004, to the 65th anniversary of the university, was the history of the institute, seen by the eyes of his graduates of different decades.
The current edition in the compressed form contains the main motives of previous books, complementing their story about the events of the last decade.
70 years old - an anniversary date, which has not yet reached the highest educational institution of the Kurgan region, except for Shgpie. And the region itself created in 1943, younger. Our university is the oldest in Zauralie, but it is not only aged as such - it agreed that the life expectancy itself does not allow any special privileges and rights. What is the place and the role of a provincial university in the life of our area and its inhabitants, speaking wider, in the life of the people and Russia? The first feature that immediately turns attention - the proximity to the life of the rural population and small cities, deep organic inclusion in the daily household structure of the Russian province. The pedagogical university, due to its nature, has a tangible effect on the state of society, because care for the upbringing of new generations, the moral state of society is natural for the teacher. The Mission of Shgpy does not boil down to the training of professionals, although it is a very important aspect of our activity, and there is something to be proud of. Today, students-counselors from Shgpie are working in 18 children's health camps, while the whole country is covered by geography: from the All-Russian Children's Center "Ocean" in the Far East to the Evilok VDC in the Black Sea, including Kurgan and Tyumen regions. The pedothot was widely received vocational and public recognition: at the All-Russian Pedagogical Countess Councils in Moscow in April 2003 and February 2004, in September 2004 at a meeting of the recreation organizers of children and young people in Anapa. Conditions of pedagogical work in rural areas, especially in a small -coming school, which are quite a few in Trans-Urals, have significant differences and require special training. The teacher at this school should have a certain complex of professional-pedagogical and human skills and qualities, to obtain and develop which can be used only under the condition of targeted and consistent work. The orientation for the preparation of such a specialist is the regional feature of pedagogical education in the ShGPI.
