About Japanese, everyone has different opinions. Some consider his devilish difficult, others on the contrary - very simple. In my own experience, I can say that at the beginning it seems very simple. But everything, of course, is not so easy. Already then only it turns out that Japanese also has many difficulties and subtleties, like any other language. But if you start studying it right - it will seem easy, and it will be a stimulus to learn further and on.

If you still decided to learn this mysterious Japanese, I wish you success on this difficult way. Be stubborn, do not lose if something does not work - do not lower your hands, continue to do and do not make big breaks in learning a language and then you will definitely get to achieve good results!

The main thing is not to postpone everything on the far shelf. If you think all the time "That's it will begin to learn Japanese," or "Someday I'm aware of Haragan, and now I don't have time / mood, - laziness, etc. ..." - do not think that you have really something will work out. If you want to be able to speak Japanese, start right now!

If you do not know where to start learning - I will be happy to help you with my lessons. After each lesson will be given homework. You can execute it and send to my personal messages to me (Adellie), after which I will definitely check it and correct the error. Do not be mistaken due to the mistakes made. Your work is not needed to evaluate. achieved success, And for the individual correction of the learning process, it is necessary for everyone even with independent training.

So, first should be familiar with Japanese writing. In Japanese, there are three types of writing: two sludge alphabets (Haragan, Catakana) and Kanji (hieroglyphs).
Haragan is used to record grammatical particles and variable parts of words. You can also record the word, if, for example, you do not know how this word is recorded by a hieroglyph. Catakana is used to record foreign names and borrowed words. For example, the word Basu (from English Bus) - "Bus" - will be written to the catache.

-
-
To distinguish the Haragan and Katakana is quite simple - the signs of the Hiragana look round, with curls, and the signs of the catakan are more angular.

To start learning the Japanese language - the first thing you need to learn the cana (so called Haragan and Catakana together).
Kanji will need to study throughout the learning process. By the way, - a difficult thing. Some are very poorly given, and, moreover, there are a lot of them. For literary text, more than 3000 hieroglyphs are used. But in fact, for everyday use you need to know much less - about 1945 hieroglyphs. By the way, the Middle Japanese recognizes somewhere 1500-1800 kanzi.

And here is the Haragan herself :)

Adding to the right of some kane signs a diacritic mark in the form of two oblique dashes (nigori), We are syllables with ring consonants (look in more detail in the picture below).
If we add to the right of the signs hA HI FU HE HO Diacritic sign in the form of a small circle (Hannigori), I get such syllables: pA PI PU PE PO.

If after the signs that indicate the syllables with vowels [and] (for example: [ki], [si], [ti]), write reduced signs of the Hiragana I ya, get the record of the following syllables:

What is traditionally starting familiarizing with Japanese? Hiragana is the first thing that is recommended to learn a newcomer. For a person, who first saw Haragan, the task seems very difficult.

What is Haragana

The study of the Japanese language has recently become popular, many benefits, materials, methodologies, paid and free courses, sites have appeared. Practically everyone tutorials There is a common feature - one of the first things will be "studying the Japanese ABC of the Haragan."

Memoring a syllable alphabet - an important stage in the study of the newcomer, who took the table, thinks with horror: "How to learn Haragan in a week? I never remember everything for a month! "

What is the Haragan? This is a syllable alphabet, which means that each symbol indicates no sound, but a syllable. Forty six characters of the Haragans are used to record unions, endings, postfix. And little children learn to write first on the Haragan, and only then they begin to teach Kanji.

You can immediately begin the study of the Haragan. Methods and tools can be combined and combined. For example, to learn at home, prescribing symbols in the notebook, and in a free minute outside the home use the application for a mobile phone (in transport, in the queue, on change) or check the learned using a computer program. The main thing is to do daily, and then you can easily learn Haragan even less than a week!

By older

The traditional method of studying the syllable alphabet is to perform exercises on the textbook. Take a book, a notebook and patiently prescribe every snatch, observing the rules of writing and saying about ourselves. In a row, like beaks in the first grade. After every five characters we do oral and written exercises. How to learn Haragan for a week in this way? Planning time and not retreat from the schedule.

Frankly, the performance of exercises, especially written, will take a lot of time. But if you learn the language for your own pleasure, then classes can be given to more time and learn the ideal sign of signs.

Pros of this method: at the same time, visual and mechanical memory works, the memorization occurs quite quickly. And most importantly, the knowledge gained in this way, literally for years. Even if you suspend language learning for a while, then starting again, you all remember very quickly.

Cards

This method perfectly complements the previous one. Cut 46 cards from cardboard, on each email a symbol of the Hiragana (on back side You can write and catakana). Stir all the cards, pull out one and call. A peculiar test, besides promoting memorization. You can study almost from the very beginning of training - just remove the cards of the signs that have not yet studied. And you can tighten the knowledge of characters that are badly remembered - remove the cards that you best know, and train with the most complex.

Programs, games and mobile applications

You can do without drawing tablets and take advantage of the benefits of civilization, namely, programs to explore the Haragan. How to learn Haragan in a week using the program? Download one of them and install on your computer. It can be:

  • "Canonization", combining several modes;
  • script for "Word", replacing Russian syllables for the Haragan;
  • a game in which you need to find the meaning of the signs;
  • the Easy Kana program, which operates on the principle of cards and allows you to learn new, and repeat signs.

Online simulators can be found on sites for studying Japanese.

Do not forget about computing facilities in your own pocket. Applications for mobiles that help in learning the Haragans, a presets. These are all sorts of training tables, cards, games. One "but" - all programs on english languageBut it is not difficult to figure out the most popular. This is Ja Sensei, Kana, Obenkyo, Kana Mind and many others, most are free.

Plus learning using programs - speed. How to learn Haragan in a week, you will not ask you, the signs themselves will be remembered for a couple of days of use, it's easy and pleasant to learn. But they are forgotten by the moment. In addition, problems with reading books and writing can arise. It is better to look into the tutorial to perform the exercises at least orally. A huge plus of mobile applications - can be done anywhere, for example, in the subway or on a boring lecture.

Association

Finally, a small trick. If any signs are badly remembered (especially often it happens at the end of training), resort to helping your imagination. Come up with associations for some signs (if you wish, you can and to the entire table). For example, the symbol "ゅ" is definitely similar to the letter "Yu" and sounds the same way. And "う" looks like a ear, "ふ" - it is better to come up with an association. Now you know how to learn Haragan in a week. You will succeed!

RESOURCES

To begin with, I will list sites, books and programs that I used by studying the Haragan and Cataakan. I must say, I broke the resources a lot, but here I list only those that could recommend others. In each category, I placed items in descending order of their utility (for me).

ON-LINE RESOURCES FOR STUDYING KANA

1. Teach Yourself Japanese is the main resource I enjoyed. Writing canova characters are shown without any curls and thickens, and as we write a handle or pencil. An explanations of the nuances of the sounds are given, there are audio files. There are additional information about the language. In addition, it is all possible to download to the disk and use without connecting to the Internet (on main page There is a link to zip-s).

2. Japanese tutorial - here the most brief and intelligent explanation of the sound of Kan (see Lesson 12), but I did not take the writing from here. There are a pair of exercise with the answers. I think that read the lessons on this site - the most the best way First contact with Japanese before the start of his serious study.

3. Japanese language online - on this resource there are propusions for the language, if it is too lazy to make them yourself, and you can see the location of the Kan in the sequence in the cell. There is a voice acting, but it seemed uncomfortable to use it. (!) The procedure for writing the features of two cats is not like in most other sources.

4. Learn The Kana is the most convenient resource for listening to the sound of the CAN - when you click on the icon, you just hear the sound, nothing opens in the Pop-Up window, and, moreover, the sound file does not need to download for wiretapping. In addition, this resource offers 1-2 mnemonic rules for each cana (the truth, aimed at the English-language audience) and there is a section "Similar Hiragana / Katakana", where attention is focused on the differences of similar cats.

On-Line Resources for Testing Kana Knowledge

5. David Hallgren "S Japanese Page - I liked me more than anyone else to which I stumbled. Here you can test knowledge of both alphabet or each separately, or even certain rows. I type blindly, so this test is going with the speed of the machine gun.

6. Real Kana is the same as No. 5, but there are some brakes in the test.

7. Henrik Theiling "S Script Teacher - here you can practice in Kana's knowledge, using several different fonts. A couple of fonts change the kind of icons almost beyond recognition, so it is useful to prepare yourself to how they may look in different texts.

8. Learn Japanese - I especially seemed a useful opportunity to practice without Romaji, but only Hiragana<-> katakana.

Offline Resources

9. "A Guide to Learning Hiragana and Katakana" by Henshall and Takagaki - from this book I used only exercises, as well as a description of the additional sounds of the Kan and various nuances of Kana letters.

10. "Hiragana and Katakana Worksheets" (Meguro Language Center) - also used for exercise only. There are answers, but go a separate file.

11. "REMEMBERING THE KANA" (Part 1 - Hiragana, Part 2 - Katakana) by Heisig - This book is of interest to me in that it gives mnemonic rules to memorize Kan, but a very small part of them is suitable for Russian-speaking people.

Soft (Programs)

12. Let "S Learn Japanese - Hiragana and Katakana
Pros:

  • no need to look for a value in the list
  • training passes very quickly and easily, especially if you know how to print in English blindly. That is, this program is similar to resources No. 5 and No. 6, only the Internet is not needed.
Minuses:
  • no voice acting
  • only recognizing CAN is trained, and not their playback
13. Kanatutor
Pros:
  • there is a voice acting of all
  • configurable test (you can turn off Romadzi, leaving only audio, but it is better not to disable, and then half of the sounds do not disassemble)
  • training recalling Kan on the sound of + Romaji (most tests train reading kang according to their image)
Minuses:
  • search for answers takes too a large number of of time
  • it is very difficult to distinguish between some sounds (chi-ji, kg, x-bd, re-bay, dza sounds closer to du or ryu)
  • do not tested mitigations (kya, me, etc.)
  • scripture Kan Mouse - Perversion, this part of the program can be safely omitted
14. JAPALPHA4.1.
Pros:
  • you can test the truly complete alphabet, including mitigation
Minuses:
  • no voice acting
  • there are quite a lot of response options, and the test test, so much time goes to search for an answer in the list; It would be better if there was a full alphabet, and always in the same order.
  • tests only reading Kan (Kana -\u003e Romaji), and not remembering (Romaji -\u003e Kana)
miscellanea

15. Printed propacius and handle - "saw, Shura, saw!". When studying each new canova, I wrote at least one line of this symbol. And if it did not work, it wrote a few more lines, until it began to be obtained.

16. Hiragana and Katakana Flash Cards - before I observed the programs and Online tests, cards (I printed them on ordinary sheets, not a cardboard) very helped. But it is clear that with the programs reliable.

PROCESS

At first I came up with mnemonic rules to memorize every canova from one or two rows that I had to learn on this day. For this, I used resources No. 4 and №11 - in search of inspiration :). Then I used resources No. 1, 2 and 3 to study the writing and sounding of each cana. After that, forward and with songs №15. Then I asked someone from people close to me a little pushing me up all kans, which I already know.

All other items described above - for testing, I used them only after studying the entire alphabet, and then I read more information about the various nuances of writing and sounding Kan (mainly resources No. 9, 1 and 2).

Wow, I did not realize how much I used resources until I listed them here. And how much time I spent to choose them from a variety of others - even imagine scary! As the saying goes: "Hunting in the forest." :)
