"My humanity"
The poet Yevtushenko called his fourth wife Maria a guardian angel. Although he admitted - quarrels do happen.

“We could talk about literature for hours, and our opinions did not always coincide. For example, I really love the early Mayakovsky, and Evgeny Alexandrovich, on the contrary, the late one. Moreover, it was his wife who became his first literary critic- Yevtushenko read her newly born lines, asked her opinions first of all.

He made sure that his plans and projects saw the light of day. Now the whole family and close friends of Yevgeny Alexandrovich threw all their strength to fulfill his will.
