In 1931, general collectivization came to Devyatkino: the collective farm "New Urtaya" (translated from Finnish - "New harvest") was organized here. The first attempt, relatively voluntary, to create a collective farm in Devyatkino, undertaken in 1930, ended in failure. N. Ya. Serebryakova quotes an archival document signed by the chairman of the district executive committee Kapustin: “At the beginning of February 1930, at a general meeting, 45 farms joined the collective farm, of which 34 people, thanks to the agitation of Susi and Kaugenen, submitted applications to leave the collective farm within two or three days. There are already problems with parking spaces in the area.
