The appeal on the issue of changes in the assessment obtained on the introductory test, handed over to the MGSU in the form and according to the materials determined by the MGSU, is personally applied by an applicant the day after declaring an examination on the exam only after familiarizing the applicant with the results of work verification. An appeal application is filed personally as an applicant in handwritten form directly in the audience, which has been familiar with the results of work, and is transferred to the responsible secretary or his representative in this audience (appeals submitted after the entry of the applicant from this audience are not considered). At the appeal, the specific reasons for which the applicant does not agree with the assessment (appeal without specifying specific reasons, i.e. to assess the work "as a whole", "generally", etc., are not considered).

Consideration of the appeal to the arranged assessment is made by the Commission as part of the responsible secretary of the admission committee of the MGSU, the Chairman of the Subject Commission or their deputies and the teacher who has verified work during the day after the day of familiarization with examination work.

The incoming has the right to be present in the consideration of the appeal (in the presence of a document certifying his identity, and examination sheet). With a minor applicant (up to 18 years), one of the parents or legal representatives is entitled to be present, except minors recognized in accordance with the law fully capable until the age of majority.

MGSU takes into account the results of the winners and the medalists of the final stages All-Russian Olympiad Schoolchildren, Olympics of schoolchildren approved in the relevant procedure, the construction of the MGSU Construction Olympiad, as well as membership in the national teams of the Russian Federation formed in the manner determined by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation participating in international competitions.

The results of the winners and prize-winners of schoolchildren I, II and III levels, approved by the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, are recognized as the highest results of entrance tests ("100" points) for these subjects.
