Admission of the specialty. Visiting day

Every year, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation revises the conditions for admission to universities, develops new requirements and terminates the outdated admission rules. Graduates, as well as everyone who wants to enter Russian universities, need to carefully study the changes introduced by authorized officials of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, which directly affect the likelihood of admission to the desired university.

Of course, at the moment there are new rules in the education system aimed at admission of applicants in 2018-2019 academic year have not yet appeared, but based on the experience of past years, some preliminary conclusions can be drawn. And to the main question from graduates and everyone who wants to become students - when to apply to the university in 2018- you can find out the answer right now.

Below is important information, after reading which, many burning questions will disappear by themselves.

Every institution of higher education wants not random students to study with them, who did not manage to enter other coveted places and came to them for lack of choice. No, any university wants to get those people who are trying with all their might to get into their university or institute.

Therefore, there is an unspoken screening of applicants: those applicants who have personally appeared at the admissions office and brought the originals of the documents necessary for admission, and did not send them by e-mail, have an advantage.

Most nonresident students send copies of documents in the first week after graduation. Given that only five universities are allowed to submit documents, it is necessary to decide in advance which of them the originals should be brought to. The other four higher education institutions can send copies of documents by mail and register online.

So, as soon as it dies down prom, the next day you can go to the admissions office of the university or institute that is in priority.

Some universities do not consider copies of documents. Well, that's their right. We will share with you the secret of how to get around such a nuance. To do this, you just need to certify with a notary the copies of the original documents necessary for the receipt and, if the order of the selected university requires it, you can personally present notarized copies.

If the university needs to take additional exams introduced by the university, then the documents must be submitted within the time limits prescribed by the university itself. As a rule, this date "floats" in the early days of July.

If the university does not imply entrance exams, then you can submit documents to the admissions office immediately after the school graduation.

How to enter a university

To begin with, it is worth preparing the documents that need to be submitted to the admissions office.

  1. An application addressed to the rector, which contains information about the successful passing of the exam (as well as those chosen by the applicant himself), indicating the results of the exams. In addition, the application must give consent to the processing of personal data. Do not be alarmed, this is a common procedure. A sample application can be asked at the admissions office.
  2. Identity document, as well as the citizenship of the applicant.
  3. Graduation certificate high school... If an applicant enters a university after receiving an education, then you need to submit a document on vocational education or a diploma from the university for obtaining higher education.
  4. Photos in the amount of two pieces.

In some cases, the following documents should be attached to the main documentation:

  1. Document on the recognition of foreign education. It is necessary if the education was obtained abroad and the corresponding documentation on the received education was issued by another state.
  2. Document confirming disability. It is necessary to use the benefits if the applicant is disabled or to create special conditions for entrance examinations, if there is such a need.
  3. Conclusion on the absence of restrictions for studying at the university. A similar document is issued by the institution of medical and social expertise of the Russian Federation. Required when entering a university for disabled people of I and II groups, disabled children, disabled from childhood, as well as those who received disability during the period of passing military service... This also includes getting a disability from injury or illness that were received during military service.
  4. Document that confirms preemptive right enrollment. Required for the preferential category of applicants to the university.
  5. Other documents, depending on the category of the applicant.

What benefits can be used for admission

School graduates who have received honors or medals are admitted to the university bypassing the competition. Such applicants are interviewed. Some specialized universities, nevertheless, adhere to the practice of enrolling such applicants on a general basis.

  • winners and prize-winners of Olympiads (basic educational subjects are taken into account);
  • winners of sports competitions (all types of Olympiads or European championships and world championships are counted);
  • members of international teams of the Russian Federation.

Applicants who have advantages in admission to universities:

  • USE results;
  • the results of exams in another university;
  • test results conducted by the Ministry of Education;
  • results of all types of Olympiads;
  • results of tests of preparatory departments funded by the state.

Every year, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation revises the conditions for admission to universities, develops new requirements and terminates the outdated admission rules. Graduates need to carefully examine the changes that directly affect the likelihood of enrolling in a desired university. Of course, at the moment, new rules in the education system aimed at admitting applicants in 2019 have not yet appeared, but based on the experience of past years, it is possible to prepare documents for admission to a university in 2019 and draw some preliminary conclusions.

Given that only five universities are allowed to submit documents in Russia, it is necessary to decide in advance which of them the originals should be brought to. The other four institutions of higher education can send copies of documents by mail and register online.

If the university does not imply entrance exams, then the question of when to submit documents to the admissions office should be answered - immediately after the school graduation.

Carry documents in person or send by mail?

Every institution of higher education wants more than random students to study there. Therefore, there is an unspoken screening of applicants:

  • those applicants who have personally appeared at the selection committee have an advantage;
  • brought the originals of the documents required upon receipt, and did not send them by e-mail.

Thus, any university wants to get those people who are trying with all their might to get into their university or institute.

How to enter a university

After the universities to which the graduate of the school is going are selected, you need to collect a package of documents for admission. As a rule, the list required documents differs little from previous years. To confirm your personal data, exam results, education, you need to present a number of certificates and documents. The following documents are required for the selection committee.

Full information must be provided, both about the compulsory subjects and about those that were passed by choice. It is necessary to indicate the results of the exam in full.

Filling out a special form, applicants indicate not only information about themselves and the results of the exam, they fill out the column "specialty" (indicate which one they are applying for), inform how they are going to study (full-time or correspondence departments), add information about the availability of a certificate, about benefits for admission, about health (about disabilities) and other information.

All information must be confirmed by appropriate documents. You need to provide the following:

Without what documents will they not be admitted to the university in 2018? Watching the video:

Farewell to the school bench and admission to the chosen university, institute or academy is an important and exciting step for any graduate. After all, it means not just a final farewell to childhood and entry into adulthood, but also a defining moment in the subsequent level of income and the realization of dreams of a cloudless future.

It is not surprising that schoolchildren and their parents closely monitor changes in admission and admission rules. Moreover, the reformist sentiments of Russian officials from the Ministry of Education lead to the fact that almost every year there are additions and revisions of the procedure for submitting documents, the system for awarding points and determining quotas for budget places. Let's see what university applicants should be prepared for in 2018.

Admission to universities of the Russian Federation in 2018

According to the orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, the following innovations have been introduced into the admission rules:

  • in the part concerning persons who enroll at the bachelor's and specialist's level, children whose parents serve in the National Guard and persons who themselves are employees and employees of this type of troops were assigned to the category of priority;
  • the special conditions for applicants entering the universities of the Russian Federation from Crimea have undergone changes. Since 2017, admission to training for them has been carried out on a general basis, no special quotas for immigrants from Crimea is not provided (in contrast to the conditions in force from 2014 to 2016, when they could enter the budget within a special quota);
  • changes have been made to the list of exams required for admission to a bachelor's degree or a specialist in the direction "Intelligent Systems in the Humanities". To apply for the specified specialty, now it will be necessary to pass the math block without fail.

It is also worth recalling that benefits continue to operate for those who are the winner and prize-winner of the All-Russian subject Olympiads- such individual achievement can earn you 10 extra points to the rating. As in previous years, university applicants can send their documents to a maximum of five educational institutions. Moreover, in each of them, it is possible to define three directions for admission. Acceptance of documents is carried out in two stages:

  • at the first stage, applicants are selected who will fill 80% of the places paid from the budget;
  • on the second - the remaining places for the direction are filled.

In 2018, you can send documents to a maximum of five universities

What will happen to budget places?

In 2016, representatives of relevant departments stated that the volume of state orders in 2017-2018 will be preserved. According to data from the Ministry of Education, universities will be allocated funding in an amount sufficient to provide 575 thousand places for applicants for bachelor's, master's, postgraduate studies and residency, both full-time and part-time. The gross volume of this quota was received by universities that train specialists in the field of pedagogy, medicine and health care, mathematics and natural sciences.

At the same time, budget-funded places in economic and legal specialties were reduced, since, according to the statistics of the labor market in recent years, it is representatives of these professions that account for up to ½ of the number of unemployed citizens of the country. Quota for extramural form learning will decrease. The ministry assumes that it will be possible to force a larger number of students to study at the inpatient department, and this form of training provides better knowledge.

Decrease in funding

Nevertheless, at the beginning of 2017, information from a regular staff meeting led by the prime minister was leaked to information sources. They say that in the 2017/2018 academic year, Russian universities may receive 40% less funding. budget places from the previously planned volume. The reductions may affect both first-year and graduate students - the specialized department does not have enough funds for this item of expenditure.

In addition, it is possible that the number of scholarship recipients will be reduced. Such a policy of the Ministry of Education is explained very simply - budgetary allocations for educational expenses for the period from 2017 to 2019 were frozen in the amount of 15.78 trillion rubles amid rising inflation and maintenance costs, and the state program called "Development of Education" in last years was underfunded.

The Ministry of Education has not financed about 40% of budget places!

Moreover, this negative trend will continue in the future. So, in 2017, it was decided to cut program costs by 23.4%, in 2018 - by 28.5%, and in 2019 - by 35.2%. At the same time, in the new three-year budget of the country, expenditure items related to the education sector were also revised downward. If in 2017 they make up 2.75% of the entire expenditure side of the budget, then in 2019 they will be cut to 2.45%.

Problems with money will affect students not only directly, but also indirectly - the lack of money led to the optimization of university staff, so that only in 2017, part of the teaching staff will be fired. Separately, it is worth mentioning the reduction in the number of branches of universities, which will begin in 2017 and will cover about 1/3 of their number.

Naturally, innovations of this kind caused a storm of indignation among representatives of higher education. Long debates led to the fact that some universities were able to achieve an increase in the amount of funding for their needs, but there are not so many such lucky ones, and it will not be easy to enroll in them. The list of universities that will receive 16.9 billion additional rubles from the budget include Moscow State University, St. graduate School economics, Crimean and Sevastopol universities.

What is the GPA needed for admission?

The best educational institutions require the highest scores from applicants. Doors of such universities as Moscow State University, St. Petersburg State University, MGIMO, Higher School of Economics, Moscow State law university named after Kutafin, Moscow Phystech, Moscow Engineering Physics Institute, Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Tyumen universities, St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Baumanka or the Peoples' Friendship Institute are stormed by those who scored 80 points and higher on the exam.

More about admission for Crimean residents

Soon, Crimean applicants will have to take the Unified State Exam on a par with everyone else

Somewhat earlier, information leaked to the press that made graduates of Crimean schools and their parents seriously nervous. It was assumed that already from 2017 they will need to take the Unified State Exam and apply to universities and institutes of the Russian Federation, among other applicants, since in several years they had to go through a process of gradual adaptation to new educational standards... Today it is known that these students will have a little more time to prepare.

President Vladimir Putin signed a legislative document extending the opportunity to apply without the USE until 2018. Rather, graduates will have a choice - to write an all-Russian test or take an examination according to the rules of the university to which they apply. So far, the number of children willing to write a difficult test is very small. For example, in 2016, only 38% of eleventh graders in Crimea decided to pass such a test, although the figure has increased significantly since 2015, when only about 5% of all graduates came to the Unified State Exam.

At the moment, for all future graduates, as well as their parents, the most responsible time in life is coming - the determination of the direction of study with a further direction. Now even the most in-demand student has many options where he can enter after the end of grade 11 in order to continue the process of obtaining necessary knowledge, for the further implementation of the life plans set in front of oneself.
