Pedagogical and methodological analysis of the discipline. 4. Interim results of approbation. In order to achieve educational outcomes the discipline used various teaching aids, assignments of a different nature. So, the teaching methodology was applied according to the case system, which meets the tasks of implementing the activity approach in teaching. This form of student work has shown its effectiveness as assignments for practical training. Another form of control over the development of a discipline by students was the defense of an essay as a work, in which, on the one hand, significant results of the development of knowledge are reflected, and on the other, students have the opportunity to demonstrate the process of formation of basic competencies. Among the variety of forms of work in training, individual and group forms of work organization were used. Out of 14 students studying in the profile of "speech therapy", following the results of midterm control, 5 students showed high level mastering the discipline ("excellent"), 5 students were rated "good", 4 students - "satisfactory". Out of 13 students enrolled in the profile of "oligophrenopedagogy", according to the results of midterm control, 3 students showed a high level of mastering the discipline ("excellent"), 4 students received a grade of "good", 6 students - "satisfactory". 5. Conclusions. 5.1. The Fund of tasks for midterm and final control, formed to date, provides for diverse criteria for assessing the development of the discipline by students. However, in their present form they are in to a greater extent allow assessing the knowledge component of learning outcomes, rather than the level of formed competencies of students and their readiness to apply them through appropriate labor actions. It is necessary to continue work on the formation of a bank of control tasks for midterm and final control in order to increase efficiency in assessing students' achievement of the expected learning outcomes. 5.2. The full implementation of the program depends on the level of methodological training of the instructors conducting the approbation. Accordingly, it is necessary to adjust and clarify the qualification requirements for teachers working in the 1st year of the undergraduate program. Speakers on the second question: 1. Smirnov A.G., Litvinenko V.A., Chernysh A.M. reported on the results of midterm and current control at the faculties of design, journalism, philological and foreign languages. The structure of the lecture is clear, during the lecture, all the planned questions of the topic were considered. The lecture time is distributed rationally. Teachers are fluent in the material presented, give arguments to prove existing concepts, comment on examples from domestic and foreign history. The presentation of the lecture material was carried out with multimedia support, in which the issues under consideration of the topic are clearly presented in the form of drawings, diagrams and graphs, which facilitates the perception and mastering of the newly studied material by students. A blackboard is used to explain certain aspects of the topic of the lecture. The manner of lecturing is fascinating, lively; the culture of speech is quite high. In the process of presenting the material throughout the lesson, in order to establish feedback with the audience and consolidate the knowledge gained, attention is drawn to the participation of students in the discussion of the issues under consideration. At the end of the lecture on the topic outlined, the results are summed up - the key points of the problem under consideration are highlighted. In general, the lectures were delivered at a high scientific and methodological level, fully consistent with modern ideas on the issues under consideration and the requirements for higher education teachers.
